Baka namiss nyo na ang 😁😁

May routine kami after ko syang sunduin sa school, diretso office while waiting kay Ate na mag uwian naman. Pina pacheck nya sakin mga notebooks nya at mga ginawa nila sa school. Kapag may mali, tinatanong ko ulit sya then nasasagot nya ng tama. So baka namali lang sya ng dinig or nalito that time while answering. Pero this one, kakaiba. 😂😂

Mama: Ely, anong tamang sagot dito. Look mali ka.

Ely: lette C po. Bakit ka kase andyan?

Mama: ha? Are you sure?? (Ako na hb na😂😂 )

Ely: opo (naninindigan talaga sya)

Mama: Hindi ba dapat manghihingi ka ng sorry??

Ely: opo nga, pero gusto ko muna kase malaman, Bakit kase andon sya?? Ano ginagawa nya dun??Yan tuloy naapakan ko sya. Edi sorry po.

From school grounds to city streets.

Started the day with our school's Clean-Up Drive and Gulayan sa Paaralan Project, then headed to Manila for work in the afternoon.
Most days, I'm just at home, working behind a screen as a WFH mama. But on days like this, I get reminded that with enough determination, it's possible to wear different hats and still make the most out of the day.
Parent. Employee. Volunteer. Mama.
Tired, but grateful that I can still find ways to show up where I'm needed most. Buti na lang weekend na. Makakapahinga bukas😊 sana.... 😅🤔

Today, I felt tired.

The kind of tired that sleep couldn't fix. The kind of tired that makes your heart feel heavy for no clear reason. Tumakbo ako kaninang umaga, 6km easy run, hoping na gumaan pakiramdam ko. But, came afternoon, ganun pa din. Walang gana kumain kahit gutom. Then nag decide kami ni Hubby na kumain na lang sa labas, diko kayang magluto today for dinner. Then sa kalagitnaan ng pagkain namin, my son looked at me and said,

"Ma, mahal na mahal ko kayo ni Papa."

And just like that, my heart felt a little lighter.

Maybe this is motherhood.

Some days are exhausting.
Some days feel overwhelming.

But sometimes, God sends reminders through the little voices we love the most.

And today, mine came from a five year old boy.🩷🩵
