Humans are the only creatures that live by an artificial clock, stressing about deadlines that we created ourselves. Trees don’t race to grow; rivers don’t panic to reach the ocean; stars don’t rush across the sky. They all follow an effortless, unfolding rhythm. Animals live in the immediate present. A deer runs if it’s chased, but it doesn’t spend the rest of the day worrying about tomorrow’s schedule. Humans invented the concepts of 'not having enough time' and 'falling behind.' We created a world of artificial scarcity, where we feel like we always have to be pushing forward just to survive. The rest of the universe is content simply existing in its current state, while humans often feel guilty if they aren't actively producing something.
