Director
Kukay Bautista Zinampan is a q***r writer, film and theater collaborator living in Rizal province. Much of their cadence in creating is derived from trans/q***r histories, witchcraft and caring systems, anarcho q***r projects of being and worldmaking, and playtimes with their friends. In 2020, they co-founded Pothos Collective, a group of young filmmakers who venture emancipative and novel approaches to filmmaking cultivated by the community’s lived experiences and struggles.
Producers
JT Trinidad is a filmmaker-critic based in Manila. Their debut documentary short as if nothing happened competed at the London Short Film Festival. Their other shorts were included in CNN's Best Filipino Films of 2020 and 2022. Their debut narrative short the river that never ends won Best Southeast Asian Short Film at the 34th Singapore International Film Festival and Student Award at the 18th JOGJA-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. Their shorts have been selected at QCinema, SeaShorts, Ji.hlava, Kaohsiung, NFFTY, and Tampere. They are an alumnus of Ricky Lee's Screenwriting Workshop, Mowelfund Film Institute, and the US-based nomadic film school Film Futura.
Kim Vivar is a film producer whose practice delves into taking up space and counterculture. Kim produced Mga Tigre ng Infanta (2022, dir. Rocky Morilla), a short film at the 10th QCinema International Film Festival. Currently, Kim, together with Kukay and fellow artists, has been organizing a filmmaking and theater workshop for q***r and trans youth in Antipolo.
