NEW APOSTLE OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
Elder Clark G. Gilbert has just been called and ordained as the newest member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles! 🙌🏼 He was sustained and ordained to this sacred calling on February 12, 2026, by President Dallin H. Oaks and the other members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. 
Before this calling, Elder Gilbert served as a General Authority Seventy and was the Commissioner of the Church Educational System, where he helped oversee many of the Church’s educational programs worldwide. 
He has a deep background in education and leadership, including roles at Brigham Young University–Idaho, BYU–Pathway Worldwide, and as a professor at Harvard Business School, and he holds degrees from BYU, Stanford, and Harvard.
