Davide: Batayan ng Conviction Rate ay mga Senador na Kuwalipikadong Bumoto

Iginiit ni dating Punong Mahistrado Hilario Davide Jr. sa Senate Impeachment Court na ang dalawang‑katlo (two‑thirds) na boto para sa conviction sa impeachment trial ay dapat kalkulahin mula lamang sa mga senador na kuwalipikadong bumoto, at hindi mula sa kabuuang 24 na miyembro ng Senado.

Subpoena ipinadala kay Robin sa ‘pagtulong’ sa pagtakas ni Bato

Pinahaharap si Sen. Robin Padilla sa Department of Justice Panel of Prosecutors sa Setyembre 25 at Oktubre 9 kaugnay sa umano’y pagtulong na makatakas si Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa sa Senado noong nakalipas na Mayo.

Ang subpoena ay ipinadala ng DOJ kay Padilla kaugnay ng reklamong obstruction of apprehension and prosecution of criminal offenders.

Matatandaan tinakbuhan ni Bato ang mga ahente ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na aarestuhin sana siya bilang co-perpetrator ni dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kasong crimes against humanity sa International Criminal Court (ICC).

Isinailalim si Bato sa protective custody ng Senado ngunit matapos ang ilang araw ay umalis siya at sumakay sa kotse na pagmamay-ari at minaneho ni Padilla, at mula noon ay nagtago na.
