Forecast models remain divided on the future of Tropical Depression 90W near the Federated States of Micronesia. While the JMA, ECMWF, GSM, and DeepMind indicate little to no significant development, the GFS and GDPS continue to suggest the system could strengthen into a typhoon next week as it moves toward the Ryukyu Islands.

PAGASA currently places the disturbance at a moderate chance of tropical cyclone formation over the next two weeks, with a possible entry into the Philippine Area of Responsibility while remaining offshore. Meanwhile, Subtropical Depression 91W is no longer expected to develop into a tropical cyclone.
