MEANTIME NANAYS (3:00 PM Slot)
The 6th PWDigitabilities Movie Festival: Gala Screening of Meantime Nanays (Sandaling Ina)

Description:
When global lockdowns lock families out of isolation wards, who holds the hand of the abandoned child? Who bears the silent weight when the world falls apart? 🩺💔

Witness the NCCA Contest Grant-Winning masterpiece, Meantime Nanays (Sandaling Ina), on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the NCCA Tanghalan (Teatro Locsin), Intramuros, Manila, at the 6th PWDigitabilities Movie Festival.

Meantime Nanays hits with the heavy, exhausted reality of Adom—a discreet gay caregiver who gave everything to protect his best friend in secret, only to lose him to illness and judgment. Emotionally depleted and wanting nothing more than to walk away from a world that condemned his life, Adom is trapped by the pandemic, forced back into the hospital trenches because helping has become an inescapable second nature. Through Adom’s eyes, the film lays bare the raw pain of a discreet man nursing a broken heart in the shadows, haunted by memories of his first love while stepping up as a surrogate father to isolated children. It is an unflinching, profoundly human look at how infectious diseases and social stigma divide us, yet how radical, unselfish compassion ultimately brings us back to life.

🎵 Highlight: Enhanced by moving, intimate live readings of love notes by the CoLove Storytelling Workshoppers, honoring those who love quietly in the dark.

TEEN JOURNEYS (1:30 PM Slot)
The 6th PWDigitabilities Movie Festival: Community Premiere of Teen Journeys

Description:
Have you ever mourned a best friend you secretly loved in silence? And would you surrender today, knowing someone new might love you tomorrow? 🥀✨

Teen Journeys explores the delicate, quiet threshold of growing up through a very subtle, innocent Boys Love of the discreet. It is woven with complete purity, emotional integrity, and wholesome care—making it completely safe and resonant for families and conservative audiences alike. Ito ay pormal na suportado ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), The LoveLife Project for Health & Environment Inc., YEAHA Channel, PWDigitabilities Channel, at CoLove Channel.
