Tinanggihan naman ito ni Guteza, “Ayaw ko rin Your Honor at ayaw ko nang makaistorbo pa ng iba pa, Your Honor.”

Tinawag ni Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez na “outright and complete fabrication” at “none exist” ang naging pahayag ng testigong iprinisinta ni Senator Rodante Marcoleta sa Blue Ribbon hearing ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 25, tungkol sa isang security detail na nag-deliver umano ng “kickbacks” sa kanyang bahay.

“This is clearly political and the product of coaching. I will not allow these perjurious statements to pass unchallenged. Hindi ko ito palalampasin,” saad sa official statement ni Romualdez.

“I welcome a fair, transparent, and impartial investigation to expose these falsehoods. I voluntarily resigned as Speaker of the House of Representatives precisely to demonstrate my full support for the inquiry into flood control issues.

“I remained silent out of respect for the process, but now that my name has been maliciously dragged into this controversy, I will fight back — not with rhetoric, but with evidence,” anang dating House Speaker.

Statement of Leyte Rep. Romualdez on the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing

"I was deeply surprised to hear the allegation raised against me today before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee— that several pieces of luggage supposedly containing money were ever delivered to a residence associated with me.

The so-called testimony of Sen. Marcoleta’s witness is an outright and complete fabrication—nothing more than a desperate attempt to link me to supposed kickbacks where none exist. Pilit na pilit.

The most telling flaw is the witness’ claim that deliveries were made to McKinley beginning December 2024. Imposible iyan. That property has been under renovation since January 2024 and was unoccupied except for construction workers. Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus—false in one thing, false in everything.

This is clearly political and the product of coaching. I will not allow these perjurious statements to pass unchallenged. Hindi ko ito palalampasin.

I repeat: I have never received or benefited from kickbacks in any infrastructure project. I have never authorized, instructed, or allowed anyone to engage in any conduct that would betray the people or taint my name.

I welcome a fair, transparent, and impartial investigation to expose these falsehoods. I voluntarily resigned as Speaker of the House of Representatives precisely to demonstrate my full support for the inquiry into flood control issues.

Isiniwalat ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo sa pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 25, na halos 100 porsyento umano ng bidding ng projects ay “rigged” o lutong-luto.

Ito umano ay dahil sa takot ng mga district engineers at regional directors na gipitin sila kung hindi mapupunta sa opisyal na nagbaba ng pondo ang proyekto na gusto nito.

“Pagka po hindi napunta du’n sa mga gusto nila e nagagalit po. Meron din pong areas na meron pong naglakad ‘pag hindi po napunta sa kanila talagang iipitin ka no’n. Later on ikaw pa po gagawan ng issues or kakasuhan ka pa,” saad ni Bernardo.

Sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 25, tinanong ni Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa si dating DPWH Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo na kung sakaling maipasa ang d3ath penalty sa bansa ay matatakot ba ang huli.

“Inamin mo na kanina na may kasalanan ka,” ani Dela Rosa kay Bernardo.

Tinanong pa ng senador si Bernardo na kung mayroong umiiral na batas na “bit@yin ka kapag ikaw ay nahuli” ay magagawa pa ba umano ng huli ang ginagawa niya sa pagdinig ng komite.

Sinagot naman ito ni Bernardo na para sa kanya ay marami umanong matatakot sa naturang batas, “Hindi ko po masasabi Mr. Chair na mawawala po totally pero tiyak pong mababawasan.”

Inihayag ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 25, na hindi siya naniniwala na substandard lahat ng projects sa Bulacan.

Aniya, ang mga proyekto na nagiging substandard ay ang mga malalaking proyekto tulad ng flood control projects kung saan may mga materyales na inilalagay sa ilalim na hindi na umano nakikita ng mga tumitingin dito.

Inamin naman ni Bernardo na may mga proyektong hindi sumusunod sa design na nire-require.

“To claim na all projects are substandard parang hindi naman po dapat ganu’n ang sabihin nila,” saad niya.

Makikipagtulungan si Education Secretary Sonny Angara sa tatlong ahensiya para sa pagpapahusay ng mga larangan ng policy at program development, capacity development, curriculum at resource development, data research at knowledge sharing, at advocacy at social mobilization.

Para sa kalihim, ang hakbang na ito ay bilang suporta sa pambansang pamahalaan na iwasan ang pang-aabuso, karahasan, at mas malawak na epekto ng digmaan sa bansa.

Isasama ang peace education sa mga subject na Makabansa, Araling Panlipunan, Science, Physical Education and Health, Values Education, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE), at Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC).
