Let’s learn and grow together. I am a CPA by profession, a husband, a father of three, an entrepreneur, and a business coach. But my journey didn’t stop there.
Through Faith, Family, Fitness & Freedom, I’m learning how to build a life that honors God, strengthens family, improves health, and works toward financial freedom. But most importantly, I’m someone deeply passionate about helping others succeed and discover what life truly has to offer. I know what it’s like to start with nothing—my journey wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience, faith, and the
power of dreaming big. At just 10 years old, I had to leave my home and live with my aunt, doing chores so I could afford to go to school. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was my first step toward building a better future. Through God’s grace and the kindness of others, I received a scholarship to attend high school at a school run by nuns. After high school, I had to put my dreams on hold for six years. During that time, I worked hard at my first job and used my income to help my siblings finish school. It was challenging, but knowing I was helping them build a better future gave me the strength to keep going. Eventually, another scholarship opened the door for me to attend college. That was a turning point in my life. I worked hard, graduated, and eventually became a CPA. I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship—a path where I could achieve my financial goals while creating opportunities for others. It felt like the perfect way to give back, and it reminded me of all the people who helped me along the way. Today, as a business coach, I’m committed to helping others unlock their potential and succeed. But here’s the thing—it isn’t just about sharing what I’ve learned. It’s also about discovery. I believe there’s so much more to life, and I’m on a journey to uncover it. My goal is to take you with me on this adventure. Together, we’ll explore what’s possible, learn from each other, and, with God’s guidance, find inspiration to pursue our own paths of discovery. I want you to have a front-row seat to the lessons, challenges, and breakthroughs that come from chasing something bigger than ourselves. So, whether it’s tips on building a successful career, starting your own business, or seeking deeper meaning in life, this channel is here to inspire you to dream bigger and take bold steps. And the most important part? With God as our partner, anything is possible.

I just got home, at ito ang tumanbad saken. At first glance I see a mess, then I change perspective and I see a skip challenge to reach the door without stepping on any toys. Then I change perspective and I see 2 girls happily playing their toys. In life, whether you see your situation as a mess, challenging or fun, it's all but a perspective. Choose an empowering perspective.

The verse that stood out to me during our Bible study yesterday was James 1:6:
"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."
This reminded me that in God’s perfect time, my prayers will be answered.
Once a month, my sister leads us into a Bible study. Honestly, this used to be something I hesitated to talk about. Working in the corporate world taught me not to share my faith, out of fear that it might offend others. But as I grow older, I realized I should be free to share what I believe. If I can respect and coexist with people who don’t believe in God, then I believe they should also allow me to coexist because of my faith.
In today’s world—especially with so many voices on social media—I want to influence, at the very least, my children to know which voices they are to listen to. If I don’t witness for God, how will others come to know Him or hear about Jesus Christ?
Of course, my sharing shouldn’t stop on social media, but I think it’s important to include it since it’s already part of our daily lives. I truly believe God can use it to bring people closer to Him—or even bring comfort to those who need it the most.
Faith, family, fitness, and freedom are what I stand for—and I’ve learned they can all exist in harmony when I put God at the center.
🙏 If this reflection blessed you, I’d love for you to follow me for more Godly thoughts and reflections.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received from my mentor is this: marry someone who will grow with you and walk with you through every season of life. It’s not about perfection, you just need God as the foundation. Through the ups and downs, you’ll go further when you’re together. Date date din pag may time.

I first came across Charlie about 2–3 years ago when I stumbled upon one of his videos debating campus students. That moment stuck with me. In a world filled with so much division, he had a rare gift—he could stand firm in his convictions while still disagreeing with respect and honor.
What stood out most was the way he spoke about the beginning of life. His stance on abortion was clear, sensible, and deeply compassionate. You could see his belief in God and his genuine love for people shining through in every word he spoke.
Charlie also reminded us of the importance of family values—anchored in God, service, and truth.
Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. Your legacy lives on, and though you are gone, your voice will only grow louder and continue to inspire countless lives.

Congratulations, Alex Eala! 🇵🇭 You’ve made every Filipino proud.
I’ve been following her since the Miami Open, and the path to this victory was far from easy. She went through several tough first-round exits, yet she never wavered. She embraced the losses, learned from them, and kept moving forward.
Here are 3 leadership lessons we can all learn from Alex Eala’s journey through failure:
1. Resilience is Built Through Defeat
Every tough loss on the WTA tour gave her the grit to keep going. Instead of quitting, she kept showing up, adjusting, and trusting the process. That mental toughness became her weapon in Guadalajara when she fought back after dropping the first set 1–6.
2. Losses Are Lessons, Not Failures
Each defeat revealed what she needed to improve — whether fitness, shot selection, or handling pressure. Those lessons sharpened her game and mindset, preparing her to outlast her opponent in a three-set battle.
3. Success Takes Time and Patience
Winning doesn’t happen overnight. She faced disappointment after disappointment, but those “almosts” became stepping stones. Every loss brought her closer to this moment — her first WTA title, and a historic one at that.

Sending off our brother for work abroad. I have been an ofw myself. And I know the 2 extreme feeling of an ofw. There are 2 most important days for an ofw, the day we come home and the day we leave home. See you soon brother!

The beauty of meeting new people is in the perspective they bring. Most times, it’s the differences that stand out, but sometimes it’s the surprising similarities that make the connection even more special. Excited about the thought of exploring Nigeria someday—maybe with a friend. Such a pleasure meeting you, Chimzy!

Whenever I get invited to speak, I often start by joking that I was born from the jungle, people laugh, but it’s true.
How do you call a place without electricity? no faucets, no bathrooms, and in fact it takes 2hrs on foot from the nearest passable road, now you know what I mean. And by the way, even up until today, we still walk 2 hrs to get there, we still don’t have electricity, still has no access to flowing water. I don’t say this to get sympathy, I say this so you know where I came from. I say this to let you know that it is possible; with a clear vision coupled with the determination and hard work, anyone can succeed. I never saw my situation as a hindrance to success. In fact, since I was born in a very little barrio with nothing, I know that there was so much to explore, many things to gain, and a lot of things to learn. This is my story, it is far from perfect, full of failures, successes, and then more failures, the good thing is, it’s not done yet and the best part? I can cause it, of course with the grace of God.
I am the eldest of four siblings. My parents are farmers and had very little formal education. My father didn’t finish 2nd Grade while my mother was lucky enough to graduate elementary. They may have very little formal education, but they are not less educated. Early on, they have trained us to have the habit of discipline. Our life in the province was mostly farming and that’s where I learned the basic habits that later on would help me cope up with the challenges of entrepreneurship. Being a farmer means waking up early and starting the routine before the sun shows up. I still remember that at around 4am, my mom was already up and when she is awake, she wakes everyone up. We often sleepwalked ourselves out of bed, however this is where i also learn that if I wanted something, I needed to start early and that I must be willing to put in the hard work.
I started schooling at 7. Unfortunately, the civil war between the rebels and military erupted when I was on my 10th grade and all the schools were either closed or the teachers were too afraid to get back. This is also the time, when we literally watched from a distance, helicopters dropping bombs at our farms. The scene was horrible, but we were grateful to be alive, as some of our friends and relatives didn’t even make that far. My parents had the vision to keep us in school so at age 10, I had to leave them to stay with one of our relatives at the town just so I could continue my school.
When I was graduating elementary, my parents told me that I might not be able to continue High Schoo, we simply couldn’t afford it. I was lucky however to get a scholarship from a group of nuns who run The Sisters of Mary School in Cebu. Little did I know they would be the gateway to the world for me.
I did well in High School, after graduating Salutatorian, everyone encouraged me to get a college scholarship, but I had other plans. I didn’t know Cebu well enough, and even if I got half of my tuition for free, I didn’t know where to get the other half, and at the same time, my siblings are struggling with their own education. My sister, still a minor at that time, even had to leave school so she could take a job as a house help in Makati, just so she could help the family. I decided to work instead, and again through the help of the Sisters of Mary, I got a job in one of the manufacturing firms in Mactan, Cebu. The job helped us a lot and I was even able to support my sister to college, but i also knew I was going for something bigger. I still wanted to finish college and get a degree.
Three years into working, I was ready to move on to the next adventure. - College, however, I still didn’t have enough resources to so I accepted an offer from the same School, the Sisters of Mary, to work at their newly open branch in Guatemala and Mexico. They made me in charged of the building maintenance, and I did a lot of things - from electrical wiring to plumbing and even teaching Math and English. After 3 years with no vacation, they helped me again to get a scholarship and this time it was college. I took up BS Accountancy at the University of the East Manila. At age 29, I finally got my degree in 2008 and got my CPA license the same year. My parents were so proud. Everyone in town looked up to what I achieved so far. Looking back, I couldn’t be more grateful for the people used by God to put me where I am today.
The next few years will be about my adventures as an entrepreneur.
To be continued on Part 2...(to be continued at Paart 2)
