Bad Bananas sa Puting Tabing (1983) was digitally restored in 2K in 2019 using its original 35mm print, preserved at the ABS-CBN Film Archives. The print was in poor condition, with every frame showing dust, dirt, scratches, flicker, image instability, splice marks, bumps, squeeze, gate hair, color stains, mold, vertical bands, and color breathing.

A total of 3,800 hours were spent at Kantana Post Production in Thailand to address these issues and carefully bring the film back to life, while preserving its original look and feel.

This cult comedy classic starring Christopher de Leon and the Bad Bananas gang now shines with renewed clarity and vibrance, ready to be enjoyed by a new generation of viewers. ✨🍌

Some love stories transcend lifetimes—and time itself.

Karma (1981) is a classic restored using the best existing element: a 35mm print held at ABS-CBN. Though the print had halos, scratches, and deformations, digital restoration significantly reduced these issues.

The film was scanned at 4K and restored at 2K resolution, with 1,064 hours of meticulous work by L’Immagine Ritrovata in 2017.

Originally released in 1977, Omeng Satanasia was was scanned in 4K resolution from the 35mm print preserved in the ABS-CBN Film Archives. It was then restored in 2K, and completed after 4,400 painstaking hours.

One of the most challenging restorations in the archive, the film suffered from major defects: dust, scratches, flicker, mold, color breathing, and more, all carefully addressed during picture restoration at Kantana Post Production in Thailand.

A devilish comedy powered by Dolphy’s unmatched charm.
