Restocking baby essentials at the Baby Company and we keep ending up at the same shelf…

PIGEON…

What I love the most is that we don’t have to keep changing bottles as he grows.

We only grab new ones for extra.

Just like today, we picked up a few extra wideneck bottles for Zion, and it reminded me why I keep choosing this brand over and over.

Pigeon Philippines makes it easier to adjust what we already have and it’s more practical too!

Because of the weighted straws, and like this straw cup top we just bought, we can just literally install them straight to his current wideneck bottles.

See how innovative they are? šŸ„¹šŸ’•

We also bought their nasal aspirator, this time for Ate and Kuya. Very easy to use, easy to carry anywhere you go. And it WORKS!!!

So if you’re a mom stocking up on feeding essentials that actually grow with your baby or maybe just started nesting and looking for baby essentials for your newborn, go for Pigeon.

Okay, first time trying Moose Gear Baby wipes and I already have to talk about the scent…

The watermelon one smells SOOO good I might just keep that pack for myself, sorry not sorry! 🩷

And even Daddy noticed it before I said anything, while Zion kept reaching for the pack like it was a toy. Ang cute kasi ng packaging!

Not only that…

Each pack comes with a generous amount of sheets too. Di ka mabibitin, lalo na in a household like ours na wipes talaga ang gamit namin for cleaning up, when going out or even pang freshen up lang.

And, they marketed this product as hypoallergenic with aloe extract, which sounds promising, but you know me, we’ll still do a little patch and pull test before these become part of the everyday rotation. Just keeping it real with you guys since this really is our first time trying them, but I’m excited to actually put them to use this week. ā˜ŗļøšŸ’•

Anyone else tried Moose Gear Baby wipes? Tell me if the watermelon one is a permanent fixture in your bag too šŸ‘€

Ok but why does the first day of September always feel like pressure to have it all figured out…

New month, new ā€œthis time I’ll be consistentā€ energy. New routines, new goals, new versions of ourselves we quietly promise to become.

And the second a hard day hits, it feels like proof we’re already behind.

So we push it down.

We tell ourselves the hard days don’t count toward the good month we’re supposed to be having.

But truth is, you don’t need a perfect September, you need a full one.

Joy is what makes it feel good to be here. Struggle is what makes you stronger for what’s next.

Comment SEPTEMBER if you believe your good days and your hard days are both doing exactly what they’re supposed to. 🩷

Okay moms, can we talk about the one kitchen tool I didn’t know I needed until I actually needed it?

Grease on the stovetop, on the pan handles, on the counter after cooking.

You know the struggle.

I used to just wipe it down with whatever rag was closest (we’ve all been there šŸ˜…), but ever since we started using the Tinybuds Kitchen Grease Wipes, cleanup after cooking has genuinely gotten easier.

Here’s why they’ve earned a permanent spot by my stove:

✨ Plant-based and alcohol-free, so it’s gentle on my hands too, not harsh or drying with repeated use
✨ Cuts through grease fast, only takes one swipe to lift it off, no greasy residue left behind
✨ Safe to use around food prep areas and little hands, which matters a lot in a house with kids running around
✨ The wipe material itself is biodegradable, so I feel a little better about what’s going in the trash after

Little things like this matter when you’re juggling cooking, kids, and everything else in between.

You want products that actually work AND that you feel good using around your family.

Tiny Buds has honestly become our family’s go-to brand, not just for baby essentials but for home essentials too.

Once you find a brand that gets it, you stick with it, right? 🩷

Have you guys tried these yet? Let me know in the comments!

The sleep regression lied to me and I believed it…

The books, the milestone charts, the "by this age they should be sleeping through the night" comments, they set a timeline that real babies rarely follow.

So when it drags on, moms start Googling at 3am, blaming themselves, or comparing notes with other moms hoping for a magic fix.

Regressions come in waves, not straight lines and that's normal, not a red flag.

What actually helps isn't finding the "trick," it's giving yourself permission to just get through tonight.

Comment "MAMA" if you're currently surviving a sleep regression, let's get through this together. 🩷

I wasn't expecting to see anything this soon…

It's been 10 days on this SKIN1004 Philippines nighttime routine, and here's what's actually happening on my skin:

✨ it feels hydrated and soft
✨ some of my acne scars and dark spots are visibly lighter
✨ I haven't had a single moment of irritationā€Œ

It's gentle, it's simple to use, and the formula is genuinely doing the work. The minimalist packaging is just a nice bonus on top.

This nighttime routine is after washing my face with the Skin1004 Tone Brightening Cleansing Gel.
ā€Œ
On nights I want extra treatment, I add the Madagascar Centella Retinol 0.2 Boosting Shot Ampoule. And funny enough, the same day these arrived, I got a fresh pimple, so I got to test the Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica Spot Cover Patch right away.

Wore it a few nights in a row and within 2 to 3 days it had already dried up and settled down. It's healed now, just working on fading the scar it left behind. 🩷

If gentle can still be this effective, I don't think skincare has to be as complicated as we make it out to be.

Tell me, what's your Skin1004 holy grail product?

✨ Can we talk about something nobody tells you as a mom…

You need your OWN wipes too!

Here’s what we actually do at home though.

We have wipes for general house cleanups, we have Zion’s own wipes, and then we have this one, Bean Baby Wipes in Sakura Scent 🌸, and this one is just mine.

I keep it in my bag and it goes everywhere with me.

Quick freshen up on the go, wiping my face before a call, cooling down after a sweaty workout, you name it, it’s in there.

30 sheets plus 2 free, 99.8% pure water organic formulation, dermatologically tested, safe for all ages, so honestly if it’s gentle enough for a baby, it’s more than gentle enough for me.

And I think that’s the real thing here.

You don’t have to share everything baby related with your baby. Having something that’s just yours, even if it’s something as small as your own pack of wipes, is such a small way of reminding yourself that you’re still a person too, not just ā€œmom.ā€

If you’re a mom reading this, follow along, I share stuff like this all the time, little things that make mom life easier without making it feel like it’s all about the kids.

Be honest, do you have your own wipes separate from your baby’s? Tell me in the comments! 🩷

He was NOT having it at first... until he tasted banana. šŸ˜…

Let's be honest, most of us dread this milestone.

You picture the meltdown before it even happens: the clamped mouth, the tears, the wrestling match just to clean little teeth.

And when it does happen, most moms either give up for a few days and try again later, or push through the crying because "it has to get done."

Either way, it doesn't feel good, for you or for baby.

What I learned with this one is that the resistance isn't really about the toothbrushing itself.

It's about the sensation.

Once the flavor made it feel like a treat instead of a task, and the brush was soft enough that he didn't feel any discomfort, he actually leaned in for more.

Sometimes it's not about "toughing it out," it's about finding the right tool for your baby.

Moose Gear Baby toothbrush made this whole transition so much easier than I expected, gentle bristles and Tiny Buds toothpaste, a flavor he actually liked, and zero tears by the end of it.

So grateful we found something that made this milestone gentle for both of us. 🩷

If you're a mom who wants real moments (the messy, the funny, the "wait that actually worked" ones), follow along.

We're figuring this out together, one milestone at a time. šŸ‘¶šŸ»āœØ
