BREAKING: Naglabas ng warrant of arrest ang Quezon City Regional Trial Court laban kay Bise Presidente Sara Duterte ukol sa kasong grave threats. Ayon sa kaniyang abogado, nag-ugat ang kaso sa mga naging pahayag ng Bise Presidente laban kina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Unang Ginang Liza Marcos, at dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

MAS PINALAWAK NA LIBRENG PAG AARAL SA KOLEHIYO, MAY KARAGDAGANG TULONG MULA SA GOBYERNO 🎓✨️

On September 4, 2026, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed Republic Act No. 12325 (the "Act Enhancing the UAQTE"), which officially amends Republic Act No. 10931 (the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act).

Under the signed Republic Act No. 12325 (the Act Enhancing the UAQTE), the expanded Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) now covers a broader list of education-related expenses to better support students.

The specific additional expenses that are subsidized include:

Internship and Practical Fees: Fully covers fees for clinical internships and Related Learning Experiences (RLE), specifically targeting students enrolled in nursing and allied health programs.

️Licensure Examination Support: Subsidizes expenses needed to comply with requirements for professional licensure examinations after graduation.

Digital and Learning Tools: Provides allowances for laptops or personal computers, books, and school supplies.

Special Needs Assistance: Offers specialized allowances and additional support structured for learners with disabilities.

DBM APPROVES ₱8.68B SALARY UPGRADE FUND FOR 93,000+ DEPED PERSONNEL

GOOD NEWS: ​The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has approved the release of ₱8.68 billion to fund salary upgrades for over 93,000 public school staff under the Department of Education (DepEd). According to the DBM, these funds will cover the salary differentials for 93,344 qualified personnel following their position reclassifications under the Expanded Career Progression System.
