Some lives pass quietly, without ever asking for much. A safe corner to rest. A familiar street to return to. A world that does not harm them.
GHOST was one of them.
In the spaces we share with animals, every action we take carries weight. The way we walk our dogs. The way we stay present. The way we choose to act in moments that seem small, but are not. Because for animals who depend on us to move safely through our world, those moments can mean everything.

Keep your dogs on a leash. Stay alert in shared spaces. Do not bring them out if you cannot control them. These are not small choices, they are the difference between safety and harm.
Speak up when you see risk. Remind others, even when it feels uncomfortable. Protect not just your own pets, but the lives around you that have no one to advocate for them in that moment.
Because one moment of inattention is all it takes. And for animals like Ghost, there is no second chance.
Let this be the point where we do better. Not later. Not next time. Now.
Because safety is something we create for each other. And it begins with us.
