His short films include Palabas (A Country in Moving Pictures), Super-Able, Viral Kids, My Father is an Astro-Not, The Complicated Dance to the Wheel of Life, A Boxing Country, among others. His short film Palabas (A Country in Moving Pictures) was nominated at the 42nd Gawad Urian for the Best Short Film. It was also nominated at the 35th PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Movies for Short Movie of the Year & he was nominated for the Short Movie Director of the Year. Some of his significant awards are: Best Director (7th Hak-İş ISFF - Turkey), Signs Award (17th Signs of the Night - Germany), Best Film (15th Mini Film Festival – Malaysia), Silver Award (25th ifva Award – Hong Kong), Jury Award (10th Kota Kinabalu IFF – Malaysia), Best Documentary Film (3rd Asia Peace Film Festival - Pakistan).

PRAYER TO THE VIRGIN OF PEÑAFRANCIA

Turn to me thine eyes,
Oh most loving Virgin of Peñafrancia
and have mercy on my soul
that come to thee, full of repentance.
Protect my family, relatives, friends and benefactors.
Intercede for your devotees,
both the living and the dead,
specially for those whom
I am most obliged to help.
Pray for me, console me, save me.
In my hours of peril, adversity and afflications,
above all, in the hour of my death,
appear before your Divine Son
to help and defend me.
Tell Him that I am your devotee,
that having complete trust in your protection
I kneel before your miraculous image

Bumili ang isang grupo ng estudyante sa bendor ng ice cream sabay tanong ng, "Anong masasabi niyo sa korapsyon?" Naghintay ng sagot ang mga estudyante habang kumakahig ng ice cream ang tindero. Wala syang sagot kaya napasabi na lang ang isang estudyante ng, "Speechless!" (may halong konting tawa).

Ganito ang kalagayan ng karamihan sa atin. Tahimik na lumalaban sa buhay. Maswerte na tayo kung nakaka-rally pa tayo. Karamihan, mas nakikita itong pagkakataon para kumayod muli. Pero, ang ganitong sitwasyon din ang dahilan kung bakit tayo lumalaban. Sapagkat, tinutulak tayo ng mga kurakot na maging mahirap para lalo tayong mahirapang lumaban.

Habang ang mga kurap ay nagpapakasarap sa buwis na pinaghirapan ng taumbayan, narito tayo, kung hindi man nagpo-protesta, pinipiling kumayod pa rin sa gitna ng kilos-protesta.
