[RA 11934] SIM CARD REGISTRATION ACT
Here’s what you should know!
📌 FOR NEW USERS:
New SIM cards will be sold in deactivated mode
starting December 27, 2022.
Subscribers can register for free through a secure website provided by the telco.
The telco will collect the following user info:
-Full name
-Birthday
-S*x
-Present or official address
-ID and ID number
Businesses or organizations must provide the following:
-Business name
-Business address
-Full name of authorized signatory
📌FOR EXISTING USERS:
Prepaid subscribers must register through their telco's website.
All existing SIM cards must be registered within 180 days from the effectivity of the SIM Card Registration Act (until April 26, 2023).
Postpaid subscribers are required to confirm their info in the SIM register through the telco's website.
📌 FOR FOREIGNERS:
Foreigners are required to give the following to the telco:
-Full name
-Nationality
-Birthday
-Passport
-Address in the Philippines
-Type of travel or admission document presented
-ID number or number of document presented

ID number or number of document presented.
SIM cards for tourists will only be valid for 30 days, to be deactivated upon expiration.
Foreigners with other types of visas can acquire SIM cards without the 30-day restriction.
📌 FOR MINORS:
SIM card will be under the name of a parent or guardian.
Minors will be required to present an ID and a parent or guardian's consent to register.
