Cardigan season is here! 🌬🧥

And with that, allow me to introduce you to my crochet cardigan collection, or at least a part of it, because there's a lot more hidden somewhere in our house. 😁

This collection features a mix of pieces I freehanded, some made using a video tutorial, and some I crocheted as part of a pattern test for various designers.

Sooooo... I'mma be frogging A LOT today.

I thought I was working on the base panel and was just shooting a WIP reel, only to notice that I'm not doing it on the correct panel! 😬🫩

That's a lot of rows that I'm gonna have to redo. 🥲

Progress update on my freehand WHA cloak project. ✨️🧶

Front panel is now longer, but I might need to add a few more rows.

I decided to start working on the back panel now as I feel like this will take a lot longer to finish.

So far, I'm 250 grams in with the Belle Basic 6ply cotton yarn in colors Lagoon and Black, with my 3.5mm Tulip Etimo Rose crochet hook.

The cosplay event is a month away so I'll be sure to share more updates on this soon! Like and follow to stay in the loop. 😉😊

Here's where I'm at so far on my WHA apprentice cloak project.

100g in so far of the Belle Basic yarn and I've now made the two layers around the neck. I wanted to make the details as close as possible to how the cloak was shown in the anime, with an underlayer for the base and collar, then the top layer that goes over the head then to the front.

I had to keep frogging and making adjustments to get the button placements right and I think I got it! I don't have the black buttons yet though, they're still on the way.

I feel like I'm making good progress ever since I started this yesterday. 😊

My next WIP is a special request from my daughters who want to join an upcoming cosplay event in October.

With our family being fans of The Witch Hat Atelier, we're all looking forward to how this crochet project will turn out!

I've been on the hunt for the perfect yarn colors and finally found them from the Belle Basics selection from Dyno Makes. Will be using my 3.5mm Tulip Etimo Rose crochet hook for this.

Two freehanded witch apprentice cloaks, coming right up! 😉✨️
