Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) Railway Sector, magkakaroon ng libreng sakay para sa mga marino sa darating na Miyerkules, 25 June 2025, bilang selebrasyon ng Day of the Filipino Seafarer.

Pinapaalalahan po ang lahat ng marino na ipakita lamang ang inyong valid na:
-Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB),
-Seafarer’s Identity Document (SID) o
- Seafarer’s Identification Booklet (SIB)
para makapag-avail ng libreng sakay.

We would like to inform you that the Palace has officially declared June 12 as a regular holiday in observance of Independence Day. As a result, there will be no office operations or in-house training sessions on that day.

For those trainees who have already been scheduled for training, please coordinate with your designated training administrator to adjust your crew routine's timetable accordingly.

NEWS UPDATE: SuperCare Medical Services Inc. Under Senate Investigation for Alleged Unjust Practices Targeting Seafarers' Medical Exams | MARINO PH I via rbbolivar

SuperCare Medical Services Inc. is currently under the spotlight as Senator Raffy Tulfo leads a Senate investigation into the clinic's alleged questionable practices. The investigation focuses on accusations that SuperCare has been exploiting overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), particularly seafarers, during their Pre-Employment Medical Examinations (PEME).

Allegations suggest that the clinic has been compelling seafarers to undergo unnecessary repeat tests and charging them additional fees, causing financial strain and delays in deployment. This practice, if proven true, raises serious concerns about the fair treatment of the nation's modern-day heroes.

Senator Tulfo emphasized the importance of protecting seafarers from such alleged predatory practices and ensuring that medical examinations are conducted ethically and fairly. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as the story develops.

Marcos Jr. sa Private Sector Advisory Council Job Sector Group, mga international shipowner, at opisyal ng European Union—na nagpasya noong Marso 2023 na bawiin ang proposed ban sa mga Filipino seafarer.
