USJ-R Completed the semifinal casts.

Prior to the game, the coaches from USJ-R and UC were summoned to the commissioner’s row on the possible scenario of their game.

Should USJ-R beat UC by at least 7 points, they will claim the 3rd spot of the semifinals and will play USP-F in the semifinals round.

Should USJ-R won by 6 points, a rubber match would be played to determine the 3rd spot considering that UC won over USJ-R by 6 points in the 1st round of the elimination.

That is why, in the last 14 seconds of the game, with USJ-R in ball possession and leading by 5 points, they called a time out and devised a play to score. However, UC defended so well in the last plays that prevented USJ-R from scoring even a single point. Thus, for winning only by 5 points, USJ-R claims the 4th spot of the semifinals and a date with powerhouse UV Green Lancers in the semifinals round while UC will clash with USP-F in the other semifinals match.
