"If I want to be a peacemaker, what do I do with all this anger?”

For a long time, I thought that avoiding conflict meant avoiding feelings.
But anger that isn’t acknowledged doesn’t disappear—it just hides until it explodes.

What I’ve learned through the gospel is this: Peacemaking isn’t about pretending everything is fine. It’s about inviting Christ into the mess and asking Him to help you respond with truth and charity.

Being a peacemaker isn’t about silence—it’s about healing through Christ.

"What really brings lasting joy?”

I’ve felt happiness from achievements, surprises, even comfort food—things that fade as quickly as they come.
But the kind of joy that stays?
It comes quietly—while I’m on my knees in prayer, studying the scriptures, or simply choosing to trust the Savior one more time.

I’ve learned that joy doesn’t mean I’m smiling all the time.
It means I’m anchored. Peaceful. Whole. Even when life isn’t.

💛 Joy is more than a feeling. It’s the result of walking with Him.

“How do I forgive when I still feel hurt?”
I asked myself that question more times than I can count. I wanted closure, an apology, a reason. But the pain stayed.
Until one day, I asked for something else instead:

“Lord, give me strength to forgive--even if they never say sorry.”

That prayer didn’t make everything okay overnight. But it opened the door for Christ to step in and sit with me in my sorrow.
And little by little, the heaviness lifted.

Forgiveness isn’t forgetting. It’s letting Jesus carry what you can’t anymore.

Ever felt like your thoughts are so loud you can’t even hear your own prayers?

Lately, I’ve caught myself thinking of everything at once—deadlines, bills, things left undone - and wondering why I feel so far from peace. The Spirit gently reminded me: “You’re trying to carry everything before even reaching for Me.”

Doctrine and Covenants 76 asks a powerful question:
“What think ye of Christ?” (Matthew 22:42)
It’s not just a question for the mind—it’s a question for the heart and the calendar.

What we think of Christ shows up in what we give Him: our time, our trust, our tired hearts. And He doesn't ask for perfection—He asks to be first.

💜 “When you seek Him first, He multiplies your strength.”
That’s the promise I’m holding onto today. Not everything will be easy—but with Him, I don’t have to carry it alone.
