DAY 2: Unveiling Perspectives and Crafting Narratives

STAMANAHIS — November 25, 2023

As the Training-Workshop entered its second day, students at Santa Maria National High School continued their exploration of campus journalism under the theme "Campus Journalism: Shaping Minds from School to Societies," despite the heavy weather.

To keep an inspiring atmosphere, assigned MOL, provided us with a recap on the valuable insights and experiences we gained on Day 1.

Highlighting Day 2 were lectures featuring two resource speakers from STAMANAHIS, Mr. John Carlo M. Foja, and Mrs. Befe Grace L. Galicha, offering valuable insights on photojournalism and news writing, respectively. With students actively participating in photojournalism, the morning session became not just a workshop, but it echoed with enthusiasm and excitement. In the afternoon session, the participants also had the opportunity to showcase their crafted news articles.

As the curtains fell on the workshop, the students left with newfound skills, inspired to use the power of their pens to shape not only their school but ultimately, the society at large. Ready for Day 3 of the Training-Workshop, students left the school grounds with stronger passion for writing.
