Fifteen years from now, this could be the new daily view for travelers crossing the Iloilo–Guimaras Strait — a vision that's no longer just on paper.

The Iloilo–Guimaras Bridge is part of a broader infrastructure plan aimed at strengthening connectivity across Western Visayas, including provinces like Capiz, Iloilo, and Guimaras.
Once completed, this project is expected to improve regional mobility, boost tourism, and expand economic opportunities not only within Iloilo and Guimaras — but also for nearby provinces like Capiz, which stand to benefit from faster access and more integrated development.

As someone who believes in strengthening the pillars of our justice system, I fully support the initiative of Congressman Atty. Nat Oducado in advocating for the institutional reinforcement of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor under the Department of Justice.

This call addresses a long-standing issue in our legal framework—the understaffing of prosecutors—which directly impacts the efficiency, accessibility, and fairness of our justice system. Ensuring adequate legal manpower is not just a matter of administrative reform; it is a constitutional imperative tied to the people’s right to timely and impartial justice.

Congressman Oducado’s leadership reflects both legal foresight and genuine public service. In times like these, our country needs leaders who not only understand the law but also understand the people.

Justice must not only be served it must be strengthened.
