School Holds General Assembly: Principal Upholds No Collection Policy
Macario Delfin Bermejo National High School held its General Assembly on August 30, 2025, bringing together parents, teachers, and students to discuss important matters and strengthen school-community partnerships.
In her message, Principal Ma. Jhona G. Villasis, EdD, expressed full support for the Department of Education’s No Collection Policy.
She emphasized that no student should be burdened with mandatory fees, underscoring the school’s commitment to providing free and accessible education.
She also reminded parents that voluntary contributions may be accepted but should never be required.
Another highlight of the program was the induction of the newly elected School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) Officers.
Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Jamindan, Hon. Lemuel Vestidas, served as the induction officer.
The officers formally took their oath to serve the school community with dedication, transparency, and accountability.
Meanwhile, the outgoing PTA officers presented their accomplishment report, highlighting the projects, programs, and activities they successfully implemented in support of the school.
Their report reflected the collective efforts of parents and teachers in fostering a conducive learning environment for students.
The assembly ended with a call for stronger collaboration among school officials, parents, and the community to ensure that learners are provided with quality education guided by transparency, inclusivity, and unity.
