Lately, I’ve been feeling the weight of everything.
Not the kind of tiredness na madadaan lang sa tulog.
It’s the kind of exhaustion na kahit gusto mong magpahinga, hindi mo magawa — because life does not pause just because you are tired.
Being a working mom is hard.
Being the one who has to show up for the children, for the home, for work, and for every little responsibility in between is even harder.
May mga araw na ang daming iniisip.
Bills. Needs. Work. Health. Children. Responsibilities.
Tapos kapag ikaw naman ang nagkasakit, you still have to function because someone still needs you.
And honestly, that part hurts.
Because sometimes, mothers do not need advice.
Sometimes, we just need rest.
A quiet room.
A little help.
A moment where we are not expected to be strong.
People may see us doing everything and think we are okay.
But sometimes, we are only surviving quietly.
Still, we get up.
We prepare what needs to be prepared.
We take care of everyone even when we also need care.
We keep going even when our mind and body are already asking for a pause.
This is not weakness.
This is motherhood in one of its hardest forms.
To every mother who feels anxious, tired, sick, overwhelmed, and alone — I see you.
You are not failing.
You are carrying too much.
And maybe today, the bravest thing we can say is:
“I am tired, but I am still here.” 🤎
