6,999 yen (7,559 yen with tax) = 2,948 pesos
294.8 pesos per kilo

4,150 yen (4,482 yen with tax) = 1,748 pesos
349.6 pesos per kilo

If you go to grocery stores and see the prices of the items that you need for everyday, mabibigla ka din sa prices. Sobrang mahal, as in.

So dito kapag mag grocery kami na walang bigas, nasa 10k yen agad ang binabayaran namin. Kapag may bigas naman na kasama, nasa 15k yen.

We earn in yen and we spend in yen. Kung di ka magba-budget dito, break even lang talaga ang sahod.

Yan ang realidad dito. Kung di ka magtitipid, wala ka din talagang maiipon. Kaya sa mga nagsasabing libangin ang sarili, treat yourself daw from time to time, or go around Japan and see the many beautiful places, hindi siya ideal kapag may financial goals ka na kailangang ayusin.

And as I said before, I will share raw, honest, and realistic information about how it is to live in Japan. May pros and cons talaga po.

So ayan, baka next time makapag share naman ako ng monthly expenses dito para may idea din kayo lalo sa mga gusto ring mag Japan katulad ko.

May mga araw na parang ayaw mo na, pero isang lingon lang sa dahilan kung bakit ka nagsimula ay sapat nang rason para magpatuloy ka.

Hindi madali ang buhay sa abroad, pero dito may pag-asang umahon kahit papaano.

Nawa’y palagi nating piliin ang magpatuloy. 🫶
