GNHS Hawks triumph over SNS Growling Huskies

The GNHS Hawks secured a hard- fought 2-1 victory over the SNS Growling Huskies in a thrilling match. The game was marked by intense action and tight defense, but the Hawks' determination and skill ultimately earned them the win. Toppling over the growling huskies, GNHS regu bagged gold medal granting their ticket for EVRAA 2025, during the Sepak Takraw Girls Championship on December 7, 2024 at Guinsorongan National High School.

Swift and determination drove GNHS regu, the power of three to secure their win. Amidst being first timers, Velarde along with her team Gasalatan and Parambita clinched their journey after a series of sets.

Tension grew during the 3-point difference of the hawks over the growling huskies when the game resumed after a time out with the score of 12-9 the winning peak in favor of GNHS. Series of exchanging sole kicks and roll spikes along with newly profound fire of the growling huskies led by Igdalino diminished by the hawks left them white washed with the score 15-9 marked the end of the championship after three consecutive sets completing the overall tally score of 2-1.

“Ha sige nga pag rine sched han CCAA, nag pay off gihapon an amon work ha amon uyag dida.” Stated Gasalatan, giddy from the results.

At the recent Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) in Calbayog City, the individual contests have started early this 8:30 AM the GNHS journalists Jomarie P. Meala for Copyreading and Headline Writing had just done with the contest while Julie Anne V. Dacallos for Science and Technology is still on going. Good luck guys!

LOOKl GNHS shines in DESSPC 2024

Journalists of GNHS bagged various individual awards in English category in the recently concluded Division Elementary and Secondary Schools Press Conference with the theme: "Aligning Campus Journalism with the MATATAG Agenda: Breaking Down Barriers of Isolation, Indifference, and Mediocrity; Building Up Support for Inclusion, Collaboration, and Excellence" on April 11-13, 2023 at Samar National School.
