Completers and graduates of the Class of 2025โ€“2026 of San Enrique National High School, together with their parents, teachers, and school staff, gathered at the San Enrique Roman Catholic Church on March 30, 2026, for a solemn Baccalaureate Mass.

The celebration served as both a thanksgiving for the studentsโ€™ achievements and a spiritual preparation as they approach their next steps in life.

The Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Jose Ember Tuesday B. Tiangson, who delivered an inspiring homily reminding students that the chance of failure becomes less when a person is equipped and prepared. He encouraged the completers and graduates to continue strengthening both their knowledge and faith as they move forward toward new academic and personal challenges.

Rev. Fr. Tiangson also emphasized that Godโ€™s plans for each individual are greater than their own plans, urging students to trust in His guidance as they pursue their dreams and aspirations.

As part of the celebration, the medals and diplomas of the completers and graduates were blessed, symbolizing gratitude for their hard work and prayers for success in their future endeavors. The blessing served as a reminder that these achievements are not only personal milestones but also gifts entrusted for a greater purpose.

The Baccalaureate Mass became a heartfelt moment of thanksgiving shared by students, parents, teachers, and school personnel. Above all, the event highlighted that every accomplishment is made possible through Godโ€™s grace and that all successes are ultimately offered for His greater glory.

In February 1986, millions of citizens peacefully stood together to restore democracy after years of dictatorship under Ferdinand Marcos. What made this revolution remarkable was not violence, but courage and unity. People from all walks of life students, workers, priests, nuns, and families, filled the streets with prayers, songs, and hope.

The movement gained strength after the assassination of Benigno Aquino Jr., which awakened the nationโ€™s desire for change. Through peaceful protest and unwavering faith, the Filipino people showed the world the true meaning of โ€œpeople power.โ€ Their bravery led to a new beginning under Corazon Aquino and the restoration of democratic institutions.

We are reminded that freedom is not given freely,it is fought for through unity, sacrifice, and courage. The EDSA Revolution teaches us that when people stand together for truth and justice, change is possible.

โ€œNever Again, Never Forgetโ€ is not just a phrase. It is a promise to remember the lessons of history and to continue protecting our democracy for future generations.

San Enrique National High School (SENHS) conducted a series of school visits to elementary schools in San Enrique on February 18, 2026, to encourage future junior high school pupils to enroll especially in its Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) program. While the school welcomed students into the Regular program, the focus of the campaign was on showcasing the unique opportunities and advantages of the STE program.

The recruitment drive visited San Enrique Elementary School, Seventh-day Adventist School, Don Esperidion Presbitero Elementary School, Batuan Elementary School, Nayon Elementary School, and Eusebio R. Quitco Elementary School.

During the visits, teachers presented both programs, but highlighted STE as the program that challenges students to think critically, explore advanced science and mathematics, and engage in research and technology projects. They emphasized how STE prepares learners for future careers in engineering, medicine, and other science-related fields, giving them a head start in developing skills that set them apart.

STE students also shared their personal experiences, how the program shaped them, and inspired students with stories of science experiments, competitions, and STE privileges. Nel Rose Legaspi (7-STE), Dolce Isabelle Inventor (7-STE), Alyssa Ashley Noble (8-STE), Jhuztine Anne Margarett Alipoon (9-STE), and Jimaila Zheistine Gepana (10-STE) explained how STE helped them unlock their potential, build confidence, and step out of their comfort zones.

With the support of Sir Alvin Leonora, Maโ€™am Ana Marie Grantosa, Maโ€™am Margenet Apolinario, Sir Jopert Cerveza, and the school principal, Sir Zalde Rodrigo, the campaign was successfully carried out.

Through these school visits and student testimonials, the SENHS community hopes to inspire Grade 6 pupils to aim high and consider the STE program, while knowing that the school offers quality education in both program. With hope in their hearts and a shared message in mind, the recruitment team carried the line, โ€œAt SENHS, we make SENSE,โ€ reflecting the schoolโ€™s commitment to shaping students into confident, capable, and future-ready learners.

Esmores at Bb. Canaleja.
