Totoo pala na, sa paglipas ng panahon, mas nauunawaan nating wala nang halaga ang stress, gulo, o drama. Ang tanging nais na lang ay isang buhay na simple, masaya, at tahimik, kasama ang mga mahal sa buhay.❤️

Noong bata pa ako,😊 pangarap kong makapunta sa syudad, magtrabaho, at kumita ng malaki. Pero habang tumatanda, unti-unti nare-realize na mas mahalaga pala ang simple at tahimik na buhay

Akala ko noon, ang yaman at karangyaan ang magdadala ng tunay na kaligayahan. Pero ngayon, gusto kong balikan ang simpleng buhay—kung saan tanaw ang ganda ng kabundukan at dagat, dama ang katahimikan, at kapiling ang mga mahal natin sa isang mundong payapa, umiwas sa stress, sa mga taong plastik at mapang-abuso, at labis na iniisip👍

Ang tunay na kasiyahan ay nasa simpleng buhay, malayo sa mga komplikasyon at drama.

CRISPY PATA 🐖nakaka HB pero ang Sarappp 😋😋😋
Ingredients:
Pork knuckle or pata (about 2-3 lbs)
Water (enough to cover the pata)
Salt (for boiling water and seasoning)
Garlic (whole peeled cloves, around 10-15)
Bay leaves (2-3)
Black peppercorns (1 tablespoon)
Cooking oil (for deep frying, around 2-3 cups)
Vinegar (for dipping, optional)
Soysauce (for dipping, optional)

Procedure
1. Clean the pork knuckle thoroughly, removing any hair and excess fat.
2. In a large pot, fill it with enough water to cover the pata, and add salt, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns. Bring the water to a boil.
3. Once boiling, add the pork knuckle, and let it simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours or until the meat is tender. Make sure the pata is fully submerged in the water.
4. After the pata is tender, remove it from the pot and let it cool down. Discard the boiling liquid.
5. Once the pata is cool enough to handle, wrap it in cheesecloth to secure it and keep the shape.
6. In a deep frying pan or wok, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot enough, carefully lower the wrapped pata into the oil.
7. Fry the pata, turning it occasionally, until it turns golden brown and crispy on all sides. This process may take around 30-45 minutes.
8. Carefully remove the crispy pata from the oil and place it on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
9. Let the crispy pata rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. You can serve it with vinegar and soy sauce for dipping, if desired.
