Today is the "All Saints Day" holiday in the Philippines. It's a day when we visit those who have journeyed ahead. As we visited my father-in-law who recently passed, for me the experience was slobbering. As I stood there reading the various date of birth and deaths on each stone, u couldn't help but wonder what the value of life is. You are here today and tomorrow you are not. But then that's not just the point, I kept thinking to myself, what does it mean to leave this world, what awaits me beyond this life? If Jesus didn't die for me or if I didn't have Christ in me as my eternal hope, what would all these struggle on earth have been when we leave here. Children to very old were all lying there as but their eternal destination varies and all depending on what type of life they lived on earth. It made me realize I have to be just more than good, but have a purpose and value. Make an impact on my generation and hope many souls are added to God's kingdom through my life. I am honored to have had a father-in-law who loved and cared and I am honored to visit with all my in-laws to remember him on this special occasion. We love you Tata.
