SLOW DOWN AND BE PATIENT WITH LIFE
If you are searching for wealth, remember that someone else is praying for health.
If you are praying for health, remember that someone else has just taken their last breath.
If you are seeking power, remember that many before you possessed it, used it, and eventually lost it. Earthly power is never permanent.
Every time you drive a luxurious car, remember that somewhere, someone is grieving a loved one lost in a car accident.
Every time a magnificent mansion rises above the ground, another grave is quietly prepared beneath it.
Every time you waste even a small morsel of food, someone else is desperately searching for a single bite to survive.
Every time food is thrown into the trash, someone else is hoping to find leftovers to ease their hunger.
Every time you ask God to improve your situation, remember that someone else is praying for the opportunity to have the life you already possess.
For every smile in one place, there are tears in another.
For every joyful celebration of a new birth, another family is mourning the loss of someone they love.
Every time you drink clean water or use it freely, remember that many people still struggle to obtain safe water for even their most basic needs.
So be thankful.
Appreciate what you have rather than constantly longing for what you do not.
Gratitude does not mean giving up your dreams. It means recognizing today's blessings while continuing to strive with humility, compassion, and patience.
