SAFE JOURNEY WITH HONDA THIS HOLY WEEK 2025

As various groups and families are expected to traverse the roads this Holy Week, Honda Cars PH Inc. (HCPI) announced its Honda Emergency Assistance Team (HEAT) program, which supports Honda's global safety slogan, "Safety for Everyone".

Honda vehicle owners may travel without worry as Honda Cars dealerships will be open from Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday (April 14-16). With the HEAT program, dealerships that are offering HEAT this year are ready to serve customers as well from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday (April 17-20).

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) rolls out its 3rd year of the Holy Week Roadside Assistance Program (HWRAP), providing immediate assistance to customers on the road during the Lenten Season.

On April 16, 17, and 20, select dealerships from Luzon and Visayas will be posting emergency roadside assistance at strategic locations. Majority are equipped with the Hyundai Mobile Service vehicle which allows them to serve and assist customers away from their posted location.

Vehicle owners – both Hyundai and non-Hyundai – can avail of Before Service Activity, Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS), Roadside Rescue, and light general repairs during the program period.

“HMPH is ready to support travelers this coming Lenten Season. "Driven By Connection", MIAS 2025 Opens

Celebrating its 20 YEARS of legacy, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025 has officially opened its doors to the motor show enthusiasts. Since its first inception in 2005, MIAS has been showcasing the best of what the automotive industry has to offer and proving that it remains the unbeatable automobile show in the country.

The theme for this year, “Driven by Connection”, is a fitting theme to highlight the efforts of Worldbex Services International (WSI) in making connections with international car brands, partners, and visitors to enhance the MIAS experience year after year. Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has rolled out recently the highly anticipated 2025 Isuzu mu-X, its latest model that redefines luxury, comfort, performance, and safety.

Present during the event was the new IPC President Mikio Tsukui. “For over a decade, the Isuzu mu-X has been a staple in Filipino households, trusted by families, business professionals, and adventure seekers alike. With its new elevated design, enhanced features, and cutting-edge technology, we have no doubt that this latest model will once again set the standard in the SUV segment,” he said.

The new 2025 Isuzu mu-X features a striking and aerodynamically refined exterior inspired by fighter jet design. It now sports a New Dynamic Front Grille, sculpted hood, and a redesigned front bumper, integrated with an Air Curtain function.

Nissan Philippines has launched the All-New Patrol at The Fifth at Rockwell in Makati City. Present at the launch were Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda and Nissan Senior Design Director Ken Lee.

New design highlights are the wider V-motion grille, signature Double C-shaped LED head- lights, and a sleek LED light bar that spans the width of the rear.

Inside, a stunning 28.6-inch Monolith Display composed of two 14.3-inch screens provides access to driving information, entertainment, and vehicle functions. At the rear are dual 12.8-inch displays. There is also a 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio System that delivers concert-quality sound.

Under the hood is a 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6 engine delivering 431 PS and 700 Nm of torque, paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Also available is the Adaptive Air Suspension.

BYD Cars PH, in collaboration with ACMobility, has brought in the Seal 5 DM-I, a plug-in hybrid compact sedan. There are two available variants – Dynamic and Premium.

The vehicle measures 4,780 mm long, 1,837 mm wide, and 1,495 mm tall. The total wheelbase length is 2,718 mm. The featured 12.8” rotating touchscreen comes in as standard.

Performance-wise, the BYD Seal 5 DM-I Dynamic variant generates 179 PS and 316 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. The Premium variant offers a bump in power with 197 PS and 325 Nm of torque, reaching 100 km/h in a quick 7.3 seconds. Both models are electronically limited to a top speed of 185 km/h,

Equipped with an 8.3 kWh BYD Blade battery pack, the Dynamic trim provides an electric range of up to 50 km. The Premium variant has a larger 18.3 kWh Blade battery pack, providing an electric range of up to 115 km.

In terms of range, the Dynamic offers an impressive total driving distance of up to 1,175 kilometers. The Premium variant extends this further, reaching up to 1,240 kilometers,

The Dynamic variant retails at Php 948,000 and the top-spec Premium at Php 1,198,000.
