Honda Cars Philippines Incorporated (HCPI) commemorated its 35th anniversary with the Honda Fest event, happening at the Promenade parking area in Festival Mall Alabang. HCPI president Rie Miyake graced the event and presented the display of Honda models, including the current e:HEV variants, side by side with their respective older iterations.

The main highlight was the preview of the electrified Prelude model. Visitors will get to see up close the latest Honda sports coupe. While Honda Fest is just a preview of the classic coupe’s electrified comeback, HCPI has reconfirmed that this will be launched in 2026. Miyake said that the All-New Prelude serves as a bridge between the company’s legacy and its advanced technologies, marking a new phase in its expanded hybrid lineup. Suzuki Philippines (SPH) proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary of enriching Filipino lives through quality mobility solutions with the Suzuki Matsuri 2025 milestone event held today until tomorrow at the SM Mall of Asia Activity Center.

The event featured the Suzuki Matsuri Village, showcasing immersive displays from the Suzuki Automobile, Motorcycle, and Marine divisions.

SPH gave a surprise preview of the upcoming Suzuki SUV Fronx Hybrid with an official launch to be announced soon.

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is bringing back the thrill of street racing on May 24 & 25 for Race Weekend 2 of the 2025 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup (TGR Philippine Cup) season.

The event will be held south of Manila in Villar City marking the first time the racing series will take on the streets since 2018.

Race Weekend 2 is open to all. Interested attendees can register at https://www.tgrphcup.com/ to receive their pass. Admission is free.

The race weekend will be held over two days, with Saturday heating up the track with the Qualifying and first Sprint Race of the weekend. On Sunday, the second and third Sprint Races will be held. There will also be Drag Races, and Car Club and Gymkhana Exhibitions on both days. Race Weekend 2 will be livestreamed on the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Facebook and YouTube channels.

Expect the action on track while enjoying side activities, including vehicle displays, test drives, sim racing rigs, food concessionaires, original GR merchandise, and live entertainment. Rico Blanco and Parokya ni Edgar will be tearing down the stage on May 24, while Ely Buendia and Bamboo will be rocking it out on May 25.

BYD Cars PH Celebrates 10,000th New Energy Vehicle Sales Milestone

BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, is showcasing a significant milestone in its electrification journey by delivering its 10,000th New Energy Vehicle at its weekend BYD Glorietta Tech Tour from May 16 to 18, 2025

The milestone model, a BYD eMAX 7, the brand’s full-electric Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), was purchased and turned over to Adrian Goh, a tech industry executive, last April 30th. “Selling the 10,000th BYD New Energy Vehicle in the Philippines is a milestone that signifies Filipino consumers' trust in the brand,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines. “

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) rolls out its 3rd year of the Holy Week Roadside Assistance Program (HWRAP), providing immediate assistance to customers on the road during the Lenten Season.

"Driven By Connection", MIAS 2025 Opens

Celebrating its 20 YEARS of legacy, the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025 has officially opened its doors to the motor show enthusiasts. Since its first inception in 2005, MIAS has been showcasing the best of what the automotive industry has to offer and proving that it remains the unbeatable automobile show in the country.

The theme for this year, “Driven by Connection”, is a fitting theme to highlight the efforts of Worldbex Services International (WSI) in making connections with international car brands, partners, and visitors to enhance the MIAS experience year after year.
