The parade will start from Saint Michael the Archangel Parish and proceed through Barangay District 3, District 2, and District 1.

This meaningful activity is in connection with the celebration of All Saintsโ€™ Day on November 1, as we honor the holy men and women who devoted their lives to faith, love, and service to God.

In celebration of the 2025 National Elderly Filipino Week, the Local Government Unit of San Miguel, led by the MSWDO under the Leadership of Ms. Geraldine Templonuevo, gathered all senior citizens from various barangays at the municipal patio for a day filled with joy, recognition, and thanksgiving. With the theme โ€œEmbracing Age: Living a Life with Dignity and Purpose,โ€ the event paid tribute to the invaluable contributions of the elderly in shaping the community and preserving the townโ€™s values and traditions.

Provincial Board Member Josevan Balidoy graced the occasion as guest speaker, delivering an inspiring message that emphasized the importance of respecting, supporting, and empowering the elderly to live meaningful lives. Also present were Municipal Mayor Antonio T. Teves, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and other local officials who expressed their continued commitment to senior welfare programs in San Miguel.

The celebration was filled with exciting and heartwarming activities. Among the highlights were the Search for Lolo King and Lola Queen 2025, where the seniors showcased their confidence and charm, and the Vocal Duet Singing Contest, which brought nostalgia and entertainment to everyone.

To pamper and care for the participants, free manicure, pedicure, and haircut services were offered, along with fun games, raffle draws, and special presentations that brought laughter and smiles to the faces of the elderly attendees.

Reminding everyone that growing older is a celebration of life, wisdom, and purpose rather than a limitation, the event perfectly captured the essence of the theme. Through this gathering, San Miguel reaffirmed its commitment to making its elderly citizens feel valued, dignified, and loved.
