August 19, 1917 - Fourth ApparitionOn August 13th there was a crowd of 18,000 at the Cova da Iria, and though the children were not there, the sun grew pale and the atmosphere became a sickly yellow color. A cloud appeared and hovered over the holm oak where Our Lady had appeared to the children.

Come Holy Spirit, Fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.

𝐕. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.

𝐑. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Spirit, we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolation, Through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of Heaven and the pains of Hell., But most of all because I have offended Thee, My God, Who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, To confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

O Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and to reveal a glorious message. We beseech you, give in our hearts a zealous love for the recitation of the Rosary. In contemplating the mysteries of redemption remembered therein may we obtain the graces and virtues we ask for, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended, and by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

O my Jesus, I offer this for love of thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

O Immaculate Heart of Mary, My Mother, I come to you today as a little child in prayer. I beg to make this offering of my heart as simple and childlike as I can that the three little shepherds of fatima taught us, what makes your heart delight. I earnestly desire that all the people of the world, may be brought back to the humble knowledge and love of the Sacred Heart of your son. I pray, Dear Mother of God, whose inexpressible beauty and the radiant white purity of your own sinless heart. May it captivate our souls that we hate all sin and dedicate our lives to the honor and glory of God who created us. While I feel the need of so many things, I dare not, O Virgin Mary, ask a selfish request for myself. You revealed the secrets of your own sad heart to fatima and you pleaded for the return of the world to God. What greater good can I ask, than to unite my heart with yours in this great longing? What can I add but a fervent prayer that the whole world will listen to your plea? I give my heart to you, My Heavenly Queen, and with the utmost confidence I leave to you, the choice of what is best for me and my soul. Amen.

O Queen of the Holy Rosary, Sweet Lady of Fatima, who has deigned to appear in the land of Portugal and hast restored peace at home and abroad, to this country once in such turmoil, we beseech thee, look graciously upon our dear land, and by thy power raise it from the depths to which it has fallen, and re-establish it in spiritual and moral strength. Bring back peace, also, to all the peoples of the earth, so that all nations, especially our own, may rejoice to hail thee as their Queen and as the Queen of Peace. Amen.

By meditating on the mysteries of our redemption that are recalled in your Rosary, may we gather the fruits contained therein and obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, the Peace of Christ for the world, and this favor that I so earnestly seek of you. May God grant him wisdom, strength, and protection as he leads the Church. May Saints Peter and Paul intercede for him and for all of us, guiding us in faith, courage, and unity. 🙏

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, our loving Mother who never ceases to intercede for her children.

In every season of life—whether we are burdened by worries, searching for direction, celebrating blessings, or carrying hidden struggles—we can confidently turn to Mary. She gently leads us to her Son, Jesus Christ, reminding us that we are never alone and never beyond God's mercy.

May this feast renew our trust in her motherly care. Through her powerful intercession, may our homes be filled with peace, our hearts strengthened in faith, our families protected, and our lives transformed by God's grace.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us. Guide us always to your Son and never let us be separated from His love. Amen.

ΜΡ ΘΥ – "Mother of God" (Meter Theou), identifying Mary.
