MELT in your mouth BBQ Ribs that fall off the bone and made even better with a rich, flavorful, boozy, Tanduay Asian Rum (Gold) Sauce - crafted with rum from Tanduay’s premium line of beverages. 🥩🔥

Ingredients:

1 big rack of back ribs
½ cup prepared mustard

BBQ Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup tomato ketchup
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup Tanduay Dark Rum
1 + 2 tbsp cup Brown sugar
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
2 tsp worcestershire sauce

BBQ Dry Rub:
1/4 cup smoked paprika
2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste

At the foot of Mt. Arayat lies a nearly forgotten gem of Kapampangan heritage, Plantanillas.

Delicate egg crepes, gently simmered in sugar stock, wrapped around rich, creamy carabao milk pastillas, and carefully folded to resemble the shape of a banana or plantain.

Popularized in the 1940s by Lourdes Sanchez Carreon, the beloved Carreon matriarch, this heirloom recipe carries the flavors of multiple generations.
