She’s had to grow stronger when she didn’t think she could, hold it together when she was falling apart and fight to keep going when she didn’t think it was possible.
She became more than a survivor, she transformed into a warrior.
She didn’t rely on loud and brash words to make her way through the world..
No, she did it with a quiet confidence and stolid countenance that belies her fierce nature.
She’s not passive, mild or meek- far from it, though you may not know it at first glance.
Her sly smile may lead you to think she’s anything but what she truly is-
A strong woman determined to rise against all odds and any challenge,
For that is who she has become and the fire that she forged from the ashes she rose from.
She’s been through more than most people will ever know and she knows what it means to keep going when everyone else would quit.
She doesn’t know how to fail and staying down isn’t in her blood…
She learned a long time ago to depend only on herself, so that’s what she did as she kept growing, building and evolving.
They’d wonder aloud how she always managed to turn setbacks into comebacks and seemingly found a way when there wasn’t one.
She was so many things to so many people but she would forever be proud of who she grew to become:
Strong woman, independent spirit and brave soul.
Beneath the quiet facade was an extraordinary woman with zealous passion, fiery heart and courageous drive..
And she touched lives and brightened the day wherever she went.
She burned with the intensity of a roaring wildfire and shined with the sparkle of the brightest night sky..
An unassuming woman who could conquer or overcome anything.
And nothing or no one would ever take that away from her.
Because there was a confidence in her silence and a strength in her smile that couldn’t be denied..
And there’s nothing more powerful than a self made woman..
That’s exactly what she was-
And she made sure no one ever forgot that.
