Today, I opened letters in our classroom, from the Prayer Nook and Things I Wish My Teacher Knew. What I found inside really touched me and made me cry. Several notes… but all from one child🫀.

This learner is often labeled as hyper, distracted, unfocused—always doodling instead of paying attention in class. But today, I saw more than behavior. I saw a burden. A silent plea. A prayer. A heart that cares deeply and simply wants to be noticed and understood.

This is why I chose teaching—not just to teach lessons but to connect life to life. It’s a sacred calling, a weighty responsibility, and a beautiful opportunity to surrender young souls to the Lord🤍

𝓣𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓲𝓼 𝓪𝓷 𝓸𝓹𝓮𝓷 𝓵𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓸 𝓯𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓸𝔀 𝓮𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓸𝓻𝓼:

Let us strive to know our learners beyond their names. Let us dig deeper—to understand why they behave the way they do. Because there is always a reason. A story. A wound. A longing❤️‍🩹.

We might misjudge them. We might see them through the wrong lens. We might only scratch the surface of what they’re truly going through. But when we truly see them, we can become better. We can do better🫂.

These letters came from a Grade 6 learner. And they reminded me that our students are not “just kids.” They see, they feel, they understand. They’re too young to carry such pain—but too brave to let it show.

Let’s listen better. Understand deeper. Love harder. Because sometimes, the loudest cries are written in quiet notes💌.

Akala ko tapos na ako sa Research contest era ko😅 I even told myself na ‘wag na sumali ng mga competitions sa college dahil satisfied na ako sa mga achievements ko during my HS years sa GPNHS but here I am🤣 Having this nostalgic feeling. Si Ma'am Lynn at Ma'am Lopez kasi masyado kaming binatak at tinuruang mahalin ang research🤩 Grabe hindi mananawang pasalamatan ka GPNHS! Everything become easier dahil pinaranas mo sa akin ang mga 1st times na I never thought would become a solid foundation in facing college. I am now in my last year sa kolehiyo and still bringing all the lessons and experiences I gained from u💗
