Just a gentle reminder to all event organizers, especially those coordinating competitions: if you have invited a judge to be part of your event, please be mindful and respectful of their time, talent, and expertise.
Judges do not simply show upโthey prepare extensively, often dress to impress, wear makeup, and mentally gear up to be in the spotlight.
Their presence brings credibility and professionalism to your event, making them one of the key figures in its success. Offering them an appropriate honorarium, compensation, or at the very least, a meaningful token of appreciation, is not just a courtesyโitโs a responsibility.
Donโt let them go home empty-handed.
Acknowledge the value they bring and show appreciation in a way that reflects their important role.
