My very first iPhone. 📱

Yes, you read that right—I’ve never owned an iPhone before. I still can’t believe that it took me a lifetime to finally get one.

So far, it’s genuinely made my life easier, especially since most of my ecosystem is already Apple. At this point, it just made sense.

If you know me beyond being a tech content creator—as just a regular consumer—I don’t usually buy the latest phone. I only upgrade when I really need to, and my old phone was definitely on its last legs.

The main reason I chose an iPhone? The camera. It does what I need it to do, without the unnecessary hype. It’s not wildly different from the iPhone 17 Pro anyway, so I didn’t feel the pressure to wait.

So here it is—my new iPhone 16 Pro, and this is what I’ll be using moving forward. ✨

The Kodak Charmera is a miniature, keychain-sized digital camera released in late 2025. It is designed as a playful, lo-fi "toy" camera that emphasizes retro aesthetics and spontaneity over modern high-resolution performance.

It was developed by Reto Production under a licensing agreement with Kodak, drawing direct inspiration from the 1987 Kodak Fling, which was Kodak's first-ever single-use (disposable) camera.

Key Features & Design
The Charmera is most famous for its "Blind Box" sales model. There are 7 different designs (retro colorways), but you don't know which one you’ve bought until you open the box.

The "Secret" Edition: One of the designs is a rare, semi-transparent model that shows the inner circuitry. The odds of finding this are reportedly 1 in 48.

Portability: It weighs only about 30g and is roughly 2 inches long, making it a functional bag charm or keychain.

Retro Vibes: The camera includes 7 vintage filters (like Warm Tone and B&W) and 4 digital frames, including one that mimics 1980s film borders and another that adds a classic time/date stamp.

Technical Specifications
Despite its tiny size, it is a fully functional digital camera:

Sensor: 1.6-megapixel 1/4" CMOS sensor.

Lens: Fixed 35mm equivalent f/2.4 (plastic lens).

Video: Captures 1440 x 1080 resolution video at 30 fps (AVI format).

Screen: A tiny 0.8-inch LCD on the back for framing and playback.
