FALLACY DETECTED

Kenneth Wood was clear, “mainstream Adventism” refers to the organized, worldwide body of the church, not a select group with a preferred theology.

Yes, Wood had conservative or LGT-leaning views, but he worked within that body and never claimed a subgroup defines the church.

Using Wood to say “LGT is the mainstream” commits a basic fallacy, it treats one person’s leaning as the definition of the whole church. Mainstream is the collective body, not a single voice elevated into authority.

Grateful for the opportunity to share a Christ-centered presentation on the close of probation and Jacob’s Time of Trouble, emphasizing righteousness by faith rather than a framework of sinless perfection or “stop sinning” theology often associated with Last Generation Theology.

What we need is a balanced and biblically grounded understanding, one that keeps Christ at the center and avoids extremes that distort the gospel.

Grateful to Pasong Camachile SDA Church in Gen. Trias, Cavite for the invitation to preach at your 86th church anniversary. It was a privilege to share in such a meaningful moment in your church’s journey.

In the morning, I had the opportunity to present the message of righteousness by faith from Galatians, connected to the hope of Christ’s soon return. In the afternoon, we continued with a study on understanding the close of probation in light of righteousness by faith.

Thank you for the warm fellowship and for your commitment to proclaiming Christ and preparing for His soon return. May God continue to lead and strengthen your church as you move forward in mission.
