Empowering voters for a greener Cavite, the Green Coalition of Cavite (GCC), together with the Diocese of Imus Ministry on Ecology (DIMEc), EcoWaste Coalition, Elisea Youth for Environmental Sustainability (EYES), Kabitenyong Alyansa Laban sa Seabed Quarrying (KALASAG), Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM), and Philippine Rural Reconstruction Youth Association (PRRYA), will host a green electoral forum.

This initiative will inform the public, particularly voters, about key national and provincial environmental issues and explore how candidates intend to address them in their political agendas and promote them on larger platforms.

What's SUPs?.

As one of the forefronts of Holy missions, laities are regarded as the bearers of hope and change to communities. Their role to reflect and live up to the gospel's message is crucial in influencing the community members, to work hand in hand to carry on Christ's work in reconciling with the world.

To strengthen the Zero-Waste initiatives among the parishes in the Diocese of Imus, a forum will be conducetd at St. Michael's Institute in Bacoor City on the 21st of September, intended for lay workers. The activity is centered on the calls of action formulated in Cavite Environmental Summit 2024.

We believe that a lot more can be done through collective action. As binded by faith, let us work together to save our common home.

Here are some snaps on the recently concluded Cavite Environmental Summit 2024!

Held last August 31, 2024 at the Philippine Christian University-Dasmarinas Campus, the event aimed to discuss the environmental situations of Cavite province and formulate viable solutions, targetting the spotted problems. The undertaking also highlighted the commitment building of the participants on environmental stewardship.

This event was implemented through the collaboration of Cavite Green Coalition (CGC), Diocese of Imus Ministry on Ecology (DIMEc), EcoWaste Coalition, Kabitenyong Alyansa Laban sa Seabed Quarrying (KALASAG), and Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement (PRRM).
