Day 120 - Daily Bible Verse

1 John 5:11–12 (WEB)

“The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.”

“Jesus Christ: The Source of Eternal Life”

Introduction:

Many people seek happiness, peace, and security in this world, but the greatest gift we can ever receive is eternal life through Jesus Christ. God has made this gift available to everyone who believes in His Son.

1. Eternal Life Is God's Gift.
Eternal life is not something we can earn through good works or religious activities.

It is a gift of God's grace, given through Jesus Christ.

Application:
Receive God's gift with faith and gratitude, knowing that salvation comes from Him.

2. Jesus Christ Is the Source of Life.
The Bible clearly declares that eternal life is found in God's Son, Jesus Christ.

He died for our sins and rose again so that we may be reconciled to God.

Application:
Put your trust in Jesus, not in your own goodness, achievements, or human efforts.

3. Whoever Has the Son Has Eternal Life.
Having the Son means believing in Jesus Christ and trusting Him as Lord and Savior.

Eternal life is not merely about living forever; it is about having a relationship with God that begins now and continues into eternity.

Application:
Examine your heart. Are you truly trusting Jesus Christ? If you belong to Him, live each day with confidence, obedience, and hope.

Conclusion:

God has given us the greatest assurance: eternal life is found in Jesus Christ alone. The question is not how much we possess in this world, but whether we have Christ in our lives.

Let us believe in Him, abide in Him, and share this wonderful truth with others who still need to know the Savior.

Challenge:

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If you have, are you sharing the good news of eternal life with others? If you have not, receive Him today in a personal prayer from the heart. Admit that you are a sinner and confess your sins directly to Him in prayer, by faith. Invite Him to come in to your heart and life and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Tomorrow is not a promise, so you better decide to receive Jesus Christ today, not later.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help us to trust Him completely, walk faithfully with Him, and share the message of salvation with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 119 - Daily Bible Verse

Jude 1:20–21 (WEB):

“But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.”

"KEEP YOURSELVES IN GOD'S LOVE"

Introduction:

Beloved, the Christian life is not merely about beginning our journey with God; it is about continuing faithfully until the end. In Jude 1:20–21, believers are encouraged to remain spiritually strong, maintain a life of prayer, abide in God’s love, and look forward to the eternal life promised through Jesus Christ.

Let us consider three important encouragements from this passage.

1. Build Yourselves Up in the Faith.
“Keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith.” (v. 20)

We must continually grow in our knowledge of God’s Word and in our relationship with Him.

A strong spiritual life requires consistent Bible study, obedience, and fellowship with other believers.

We must stand firm in the truth, especially when our faith is tested.

Exhortation: Do not allow your faith to grow weak through neglect. Feed your spirit with God’s Word and remain steadfast in His truth.

2. Pray in the Holy Spirit.
“Praying in the Holy Spirit.” (v. 20)

Prayer keeps us connected to God and dependent on His strength.

Praying in the Holy Spirit means allowing the Spirit to guide and empower our prayers according to God’s will.

Through prayer, we receive wisdom, strength, and grace to overcome temptation and face life’s challenges.

Exhortation: Do not depend on your own strength alone. Develop a consistent prayer life and seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance every day.

3. Keep Yourselves in the Love of God.
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.” (v. 21)

We are called to remain in the sphere of God’s love by trusting Him, obeying His Word, and walking faithfully with Him.

We must remember that God’s love is our foundation, especially during difficult seasons.

We must live with hope, eagerly awaiting the return of Jesus Christ and the fullness of eternal life through His mercy.

Exhortation: Do not let trials, distractions, or the cares of this world draw you away from God. Remain faithful, walk in His love, and keep your eyes fixed on Christ.

Conclusion:

Jude 1:20–21 gives us three practical reminders for our Christian walk:

Grow in faith — build your life upon God’s truth.

Grow in prayer — depend on the Holy Spirit daily.

Remain in God’s love — live faithfully as you await Christ’s mercy and eternal life.

Dear brothers and sisters, let us not become weary in our walk with God. Let our faith grow stronger, our prayers become more consistent, and our love for God deepen each day.

Final challenge: Are you building your faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and keeping yourself in the love of God? Let us examine our hearts and commit ourselves anew to the Lord.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word. Help us to grow in our most holy faith, to pray continually in the Holy Spirit, and to remain steadfast in Your love. Strengthen us in times of trial and keep our hearts focused on the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life. May our lives bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 118 - Daily Bible Verse

“Let Me Hear Your Loving Kindness”

(Psalm 143:8, WEB)

“Cause me to hear Your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in You. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.”

1. Seek God’s Loving Kindness Every Morning.
David begins his day by longing to hear of God’s unfailing love. Every morning gives us a fresh opportunity to experience God’s mercy, faithfulness, and goodness. Before we face the demands of the day, let us seek His presence through prayer and His Word.

2. Trust God to Lead Our Steps.
David declares his trust in the Lord and asks Him to show the way he should walk. We may not know what lies ahead, but God does. Instead of relying solely on our own understanding, we must seek His wisdom and follow His direction.

3. Surrender Your Life to God.
The phrase “I lift up my soul to you” expresses surrender and dependence on God. We acknowledge that we need Him—not only in difficult times but in every decision and every season of life. When we surrender our plans to Him, we allow Him to direct our path according to His will.

Conclusion:

Every new morning is an invitation to trust God anew. Let us begin each day by receiving His loving kindness, seeking His guidance, and surrendering our lives to Him.

Practical Application:

Before starting your day, spend time in prayer and ask: “Lord, let me experience Your love today, show me the way I should walk, and help me follow Your will.”

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Let me experience Your loving kindness every morning. Guide my steps, give me wisdom to make the right decisions, and teach me to trust You completely. I surrender my life and plans to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 117 - Daily Bible Verse

Psalm 141:3 (WEB)

Title: “Lord, Guard My Mouth”

Psalm 141:3 (WEB)

“Set a watch, LORD, before my mouth.
Keep the door of my lips.”

1. Our Words Need God’s Guidance.
Our words have the power to encourage or discourage, heal or hurt, build up or tear down. We need God’s wisdom to help us speak words that bring life and blessing to others.

2. Guard Your Mouth Against Sin.
It is easy to speak out of anger, pride, frustration, or impatience. David prayed for God to guard his lips because he understood the importance of controlling his speech. We must learn to pause, pray, and think before we speak.

3. Let Your Words Glorify God.
Our speech should reflect the character of Christ. Let us speak with love, kindness, truth, and grace. Before we speak, we can ask ourselves: Will these words please God? Will they help or hurt someone?

Conclusion:

Beloved, we cannot always control what happens around us, but with God's help, we can learn to control what comes out of our mouths. Let us invite the Lord to guard our lips and purify our hearts, because the words we speak often reveal what is within us.

Challenge: Begin each day with David's prayer: “Lord, guard my mouth. Let my words bring You glory and be a blessing to others.”

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, set a watch over my mouth and guard the door of my lips. Help me to speak with wisdom, love, and grace. Keep me from words that hurt, deceive, or dishonor You. May every word I speak bring glory to Your name and encouragement to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 116 - Daily Bible Verse

🌿Matthew 12:33 (WEB):

“Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.”

“Our Fruit Reveals Our Heart”

1. 🌳 The Root Determines the Fruit.
Jesus teaches that the condition of a tree determines the quality of its fruit. Likewise, what is in our hearts eventually becomes visible through our words, attitudes, and actions.

2. 🍇 Our Life Bears Witness.
We may say many things about our faith, but our lives provide evidence of what is truly within us. Good fruit—love, kindness, humility, patience, forgiveness, and obedience—reflects a heart being transformed by God.

3. ❤️ God Changes the Root.
Jesus is not merely telling us to produce better behavior. He calls us to have a changed heart. When we remain in Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to work within us, good spiritual fruit follows.

4. 🔎 Examine Your Fruit.
We should regularly ask ourselves: What kind of fruit is my life producing? Not to condemn ourselves, but to recognize where God wants to transform us.

Closing Exhortation:

A healthy tree produces healthy fruit. A heart surrendered to Christ will increasingly produce Christlike fruit. Let us not focus only on appearing good outwardly; let us allow God to transform us from the inside out.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, transform my heart and make my life fruitful for Your glory. May my words, attitudes, and actions reflect Your love and character. Amen.

🌿 “Let your life be a living testimony of the One who has changed your heart.”
