We the Sangguniang Kabataan of the Province of Negros Occidental in collaboration of Negros Occidental Language & Information Technology Center (NOLITC) offers a free training for the out of school youth who are looking for a job.

THIS PROGRAM FOCUSES FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE 18- 40 years old who are willing to be trained in 1 month for free.

As of now Silay City is experiencing inclement weather caused by Tropical Depression Crising and Enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

In addition to that, according to DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory no. 9 issued at 5:00 PM Today (July 17, 2025) Negros Occidental is forecasted to experience rains of approximately 100-200mm starting TOMORROW (July 18, 2025) until Saturday (July 19, 2025).

In response to that, I hereby declare SUSPENSION of FACE TO FACE Classes for Both Public and Private Schools for ALL LEVELS (including Teachers, Faculty, Staff and School Workers) in Silay City for TOMORROW JULY 18, 2025.

Silay City DRRM Council encourages everyone to remain vigilant, follow official updates and prioritize safety at all times.
