Finally, someone said it!! This is the speech that has hugged every tired soul during the graduation. Every line felt like, ‘You made it, even when no one saw how hard it was.' 🥺
To be a student, but at the same time working for his or her own survival, is a tough challenge. It means choosing between printing a requirement or eating a decent meal. It means attending class half-awake after an overnight shift. It means going to school with tired eyes, empty stomachs, and heavy hearts.
To those who showed up not to be noticed, but because they made a promise to themselves, their families, and their future... You have reached this far, and I'm proud of you!
You may not have gotten an award today. But I saw you. We saw you. And the truth is, you deserve so much more than just a medal.
To all the working students... this victory is yours, too. You made it by God's grace! 💛🎓
Indeed, the real intelligent people are the ones who see, sympathize with, and praise others more than esteeming themselves. Thank you Tricia Ann Anda for this heartrending speech!
