The journey to the podium is never easy. Behind every medal are years of sacrifice, discipline, perseverance, and unwavering determination. As the Palarong Pambansa 2025 ended, we proudly celebrate the remarkable achievement of our Sepak Takraw Boys Elementary Silver Medalists, who brought honor not only to South Cotabato but to the entire SOCCSKSARGEN Region.
🌟 SHAN GREY LOPEZ
The team's captain and a true embodiment of the phrase "small but terrible." Starting his Sepak Takraw journey as early as Grade 3, Shan never settled for simply playing the game. While others played for enjoyment, he played to learn, improve, and grow. His dedication has paid off as he becomes a 2-time Palarong Pambansa athlete and a 2-time Palarong Pambansa medalist, proving that heart and determination outweigh size.
🌟 JAY REED ACE ALEJACA
Every champion has a story, and Jay Reed's is one of patience and resilience. He started as a reserve player, a water boy, and a team cheerer. Some doubted his strength and ability, but he never stopped believing in himself. He patiently waited for his opportunity, worked hard in silence, and seized his moment when it arrived. Today, he stands proudly as a 2-time Palarong Pambansa athlete and a 2-time Palarong Pambansa medalist, inspiring others to trust the process and never give up.
🌟 JHOEN DAVE BARILLA
A newcomer to both the team and the Palarong Pambansa stage, Jhoen Dave demonstrated that determination, perseverance, and hard work can overcome any challenge. Despite being new to the national arena, he embraced every obstacle with courage and proved that dedication can turn dreams into reality.
🌟 ALBERTO MINA III
Also making his first appearance in the prestigious Palarong Pambansa, Alberto showed exceptional patience, grit, and commitment throughout the journey. Refusing to surrender in the face of adversity, he became a vital part of the team's success and a shining example of perseverance and resilience.
Together, these young warriors displayed teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and an unbreakable fighting spirit that earned them a well-deserved Silver Medal on the national stage.
Your South Cotabato family is proud of you. Your SOX family is proud of you.

May this achievement be the beginning of even greater victories ahead.
