Summertime means swimming time! 🏊

Let's go and try to visit the beautiful beaches in Surigao City.

Mabua Beach and Ipil Beach is a popular beach destination. It is known for its pebble beaches, crystal clear waters, and stunning scenery.

Looc Beach is a hidden gem located in the municipality of Surigao City. It is famous for its long stone/pebble beach and swimming holes surrounded by huge rock formations and dotted with smaller, finer, and smoother pebbles.

Surigao City's spectacular beach sunsets at Mabua, Ipil, and Looc. Sunsets here showcase a rich color palette that reflects off the ocean waves, creating a spectacular background for the sunset. The sunsets are additionally enhanced by a combination of diverse colors and tones. 🌅

The beaches are also excellent places to photograph the spectacular splendor of the sun setting over the water. It's also a great place to camp or stay in these great-value cottages. Locals use the income from these cottages for the maintenance and upkeep of their daily lives. This is a plus you can be sure it is one of the cleanest beaches you have ever visited.

📍 Mabua-Looc Mountain Trail

Mabua-looc Mountain Trails is a series of nature trails located in the province of Surigao del Norte, in the Philippines.

The trails offer visitors the chance to explore the lush forests of the region, with plenty of opportunities for trekking, bird watching, and discovering the region's unique flora and fauna. The trails also offer stunning views of the area's unique geological formations.

Visitors can also take advantage of the various camping spots along the trails. With its diverse and beautiful landscape, as well as its abundant wildlife, Mabua-looc Mountain Trails is a great place to explore and experience nature at its finest.

Surigao City's boulevard is located along the coast of the city and is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful evening. The boulevard stretches for about 2 km and is lined with palm trees and benches for visitors to relax. Along the way, you can stop to admire the stunning views of the sea and the cityscape.

The boulevard is also home to some of the city's most popular restaurants and bars, so you can enjoy a delicious meal or a refreshing drink while you take in the sights.

At night, the boulevard comes alive with vibrant lights and a lane full of different street foods and food stalls. Aside from that, you can also find there thrift stores or most commonly called “ukay-ukay” where you can buy clothes at affordable prices. You can also see lined-up stores that sell footwear.

Overall, Boulevard is the perfect place to take a romantic stroll or just take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

📍 Luneta Park of Surigao City.

Luneta Park is one of the places where surigaonons always come to stay or usually, it’s a meeting place. It is an easy place to hang out since It is located in the center of the city and is in front of the San Nicolas Cathedral.

It is a nice place to stay after roaming around the city. There are swings in the playground area for the kids to play and a big space for them to run around.

You'll see people playing chess at Chess Plaza. And can also find a souvenir shop inside Luneta Park, which has plenty of local items to choose from for pasalubong.
