UNANG KASO NG MPOX SA TALISAY CITY, CEBU
Kinumpirma ni Talisay City, Cebu Mayor Samsam Gullas na nagpositibo sa Mpox o monkeypox ang isang 20-anyos na binatilyo.

Namatay kalaunan ang binatilyo pero nilinaw ng alkalde na hindi Mpox ang sanhi ng pagkamatay at may iba itong karamdaman.

Na-quarantine agad ang pasyente; kasalukuyang naka-quarantine din ang kanyang pamilya.

Pagtitiyak ng alkalde, walang dapat ikabahala ang publiko pero ipinayo rin niya ang pag-iingat ng lahat ukol dito.
