A doctor can save your life—but only for a time.
A lawyer can defend your life—but only in this world.
A soldier can give you a peaceful life—but only while peace lasts.

But there is a deeper need every person has—not just to live longer, but to live forever.

The Bible says in John 3:16 KJV — For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

No human profession can remove sin. No earthly help can conquer death.
Only God can give eternal life—and He offers it freely through Jesus Christ.

So the question is not just: Who will help me live today?

The real question is: Where will I spend eternity?

Today, you can receive Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour.

Believe in Him, repent of your sins, and trust Him alone for your salvation.

Because only God can give you everlasting life.

The Call to Salvation

The Bible tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). This sin separates us from God, and the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). However, God, in His mercy, sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). He offers forgiveness and reconciliation with God to all who trust in Him as Savior.

Today is the day of salvation. Do not wait for tomorrow, for now is the accepted time (2 Corinthians 6:2). Jesus stands at the door and knocks. If any man hears His voice and opens the door, He will come in (Revelation 3:20).

Will you accept Him today?

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved (Acts 16:31).

Romans 8:1 (KJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus…”

According to the Bible, salvation is by grace through faith—not by works. Once a person is saved, they are justified and no longer under condemnation.

1. Condemnation is Removed by Justification.
Romans 5:1 – “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God…”

Before salvation, every sinner stands condemned. But the moment a person (believes) in Christ, they are justified—declared righteous by God.

👉 Salvation is not earned; it is received by faith alone in Jesus Christ.

2. Salvation is Secured, Not Maintained by Works.
Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works…”

Bible teaching emphasizes eternal security—that salvation is a gift from God, not something we keep by our own effort.

👉 If salvation depended on works, then “no condemnation” would not be true. But because it is by grace, it is secure.

As we reflect on life and its fleeting nature, it’s crucial to remember that our wealth, titles, and achievements will fade away. The only thing that will remain is our relationship with God.

1. The Need for Salvation.
The Bible tells us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). No matter how successful we are in life, sin separates us from God, and this separation leads to eternal death
(Romans 6:23), For the wages of sin is death;

2.Jesus is the Only Way.
Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins.
In John 14:6 (KJV), Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Romans 10:9 (KJV) assures us, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Salvation is not earned by works, but is a free gift given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

We are all called to serve, just like a soldier always ready for action. As believers, our readiness to serve God and others should be constant.

1.Be Ready at All Times.
Ephesians 6:15 (KJV, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

Just as soldiers are always ready for battle, we must be ready to share the gospel and serve at any time, wherever we are.

2.Serve with Willingness.
1 Peter 4:10 (KJV) reminds us to serve one another with a willing heart, using the gifts God has given us.

Serving God isn’t a duty, but a privilege. We should serve with joy, knowing it’s an opportunity to use our gifts for His purpose.

3.Serve for God’s Glory.
Colossians 3:23 (KJV), And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Our service should not be about gaining recognition, but about glorifying God in everything we do, focusing on His will above our own.

Stop Calling Them Friends

The Bible warns us that not every relationship is good for our soul. In 1 Corinthians 15:33, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” Many people lose their walk with God not because they rejected truth, but because they stayed too close to wrong influences. Friendship is powerful—it can either draw you nearer to God or slowly pull you away from Him.

1. Wrong Friends Lead You Away from God

Not all companions are beneficial. Some may seem kind, fun, or loyal—but if they influence you to sin, neglect God, or ignore His Word, they are dangerous to your spiritual life.

Amos 3:3 — “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

If they are not walking with God, they will eventually pull you away from Him.

2. True Friends Draw You Closer to God.

A real friend encourages your faith, corrects you in love, and helps you grow spiritually. They will not tempt you to disobey God but will point you to what is right.

Proverbs 13:20 — He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

Choose friends who strengthen your relationship with God.

3. True Friends Lead You Closer to God.

A real friend will not lead you into sin—they will point you to truth, encourage your faith, and correct you in love.

Proverbs 27:17 — “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Choose friendships that build your relationship with God, not break it.

Conclusion:
More than choosing the right friends, the greatest decision is choosing Jesus Christ. Sinful influences can blind you, but Christ came to save you.

Romans 10:9 — “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Stop calling them friends if they are leading you away from God.

Turn to Jesus Christ today—He is the only true Savior who will never lead you astray.

The Bible clearly teaches that the power of salvation, cleansing, and redemption is found in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. From the Old Testament sacrifices to the finished work on the cross, God shows that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22, KJV). The phrase “There’s power in the blood” reminds us that our hope is not in our works, but in the precious blood of Christ.

There is truly power in the blood—not in religion, not in works, but in Jesus Christ alone. If you will believe on Him and trust in His finished work, His blood can cleanse you, redeem you, and save you forever.
