𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗨𝗥𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘, 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦!

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹/𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 (CBTV) proudly joined hands with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Poblacion, Tacurong City as a partner in the SK Poblacion Fun Run 2026, held on August 9, 2026, at the City Grounds.

More than just a run, the activity brought the community together in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, unity, camaraderie, and youth empowerment.

CBTV is honored to support initiatives that inspire young people and strengthen community involvement. Together, we continue to take every step toward a healthier, stronger, and more empowered community.

The Light I Earned

There was a time when I dimmed my own light.
I walked with my head down, letting doubt take over,
believing that staying small would keep me safe.
But I eventually realized that feeling safe is not the same as truly living.

One day, I stood in front of the mirror
and finally saw the person I had been hiding.
I saw strength that had grown through every scar,
hope that survived every setback,
and a light that learned to shine because it had once known darkness.

I stopped asking myself if I was enough.
Instead, I chose to believe that I already was.
Confidence didn't appear overnight.
It grew quietly with every challenge I faced.
It wasn't loud or boastful,
just steady, genuine, and earned.

Now, when I walk into a room,
I carry myself differently.
Not because I want everyone's attention,
but because I no longer feel the need to hide.
I've learned to embrace who I am
and let my true self be seen.

This light didn't appear by chance.
It was built through failures and disappointments,
through the nights I chose to keep believing in myself,
and the mornings I found the courage to begin again.
It comes from within,
from knowing that my light belongs to me,
and that I no longer need anyone's permission to let it shine.

So here I am.
Head held high.
Ready to face whatever comes next.
Moving forward with confidence,
one step at a time.

This is my glow-up.
This is me showing up for myself.
And this is only the beginning.

My crown was never truly lost.
It was simply waiting for me to rise and wear it again.

LOST

They say effort always lead to success
I counted failures like old friends, each one promising "This is not the end".
But every morning felt the same. A borrowed soul, a borrowed place, another shadow without a face.

They praised the ones who never quit,
So I broke myself to prove I fit.
I traded sleep for one more try,
Watched pieces of myself slowly die.

I used to be one of the gifted kids, but now
I keep asking myself, was I ever talented?
Or was I simply the tallest flower
In a very small garden?

Perhaps hard work was just a lie
To keep fools reaching for the sky.
Because I gave all I could give,
Yet somehow forgot how to live.

So if one day I disappear,
Don't search for footprints, I was never here.
I was only someone passing through,
trying to belong where no one wanted me to.

Honoring 75 Years of Progress, Unity, and Service

The CBTV Council, alongside the Central Student Council (CSC), College of Nursing (CON), College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CAS-ED), Junior High School (JHS), and Senior High School (SHS) Councils, proudly participated in the parade in celebration of the 75th Araw ng Tacurong.

This meaningful occasion reflects our shared commitment to preserving Tacurong City's rich heritage while embracing the values of unity, civic engagement, and service. As we commemorate this milestone, may we continue to stand together in fostering a stronger and more progressive community for generations to come.

The CBTV KUDOS Publication celebrates the richness of the Filipino language, culture, and identity as we commemorate this year's Buwan ng Wika.

As we honor the legacy of our national heroes and embrace the traditions that define us as Filipinos, may we continue to preserve and promote our national language. Not only as a means of communication, but as a symbol of unity, heritage, and patriotism.

Today, August 3, 2026, we proudly join the celebration of the 75th Founding Anniversary of the City of Tacurong.

For seventy-five remarkable years, Tacurong has stood as a symbol of resilience, progress, and unity—shaped by the dedication of its people and enriched by its vibrant culture and heritage. As we commemorate this milestone, may we continue to uphold the values that have brought our city this far and work hand in hand toward a brighter and more progressive future.

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰? The name "Tacurong" is believed to have originated from the local word "talakudong," which refers to a head covering traditionally worn by early settlers to shield themselves from the sun while working in the fields. This cultural symbol continues to be honored through the city's annual Talakudong Festival, celebrating the heritage, resilience, and identity of the Tacurongnon people.

Happy 75th Founding Anniversary, Tacurong City! May this celebration inspire every Tacurongnon to continue building a community filled with hope, excellence, and shared prosperity.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗖𝗕𝗧𝗩 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The College of Business and Technical/Vocational Courses (CBTV) successfully conducted its General Assembly on July 31, 2026, at the NDTC Auditorium, bringing together students for an informative and engaging gathering that marked the beginning of another productive academic year.

During the assembly, the Calendar of Activities and Budget Proposal were presented and discussed, promoting transparency, student participation, and awareness of the organization's plans and initiatives. Beyond the presentations, the event fostered camaraderie through interactive games and an exciting raffle draw, creating an atmosphere of unity and enthusiasm among the CBTV community.

The General Assembly reflected the college's commitment to empowering students by encouraging active involvement, strengthening collaboration, and cultivating a vibrant campus environment for all.
