‘PASANIN NG BAYAN’ ARTIST USES PROCEEDS FOR HEART-DRIVEN CAUSE

LOOK: Bohol artist Ryard Josh Adorabl shares that his piece tackling the ongoing flood control mess, ‘Pasanin ng Bayan’ has already been sold and he plans to use the proceeds to address concerns relative to the flood issue.

Ryard shared with CDN Digital that he will be using the proceeds from the bidding to fund a tree planting initiative and to feed stray animals, which he described as “a cause close to our hearts.”

He also intends to use part of the earnings to invest in more art materials, allowing him to continue creating meaningful and thought-provoking pieces that shed light on pressing social and environmental issues.

In a Facebook post, Ryard revealed that he chose a private collector from Las Piñas City as the buyer because of the collector’s heartfelt message: “Gusto ko mapanalunan itong painting mo kase I wanted it to be preserved for future generations, for them to be reminded na nangyari ito sa bansa natin.”

Art connects people and through ‘Pasanin ng Bayan’, the artist hopes to pass on its message to generations to come.
