Ang “Sindi sa Kalayo” nagsugod sa kangitngit, ug dayon ang Paschal Candle (Kandila sa Pagkabanhaw) gisindihan gikan sa bag-ong kalayo. Kini nagpasabot nga si Kristo mao ang Kahayag sa Kalibutan nga nagdaog batok sa kangitngit sa sala ug kamatayon.

A BROKEN HEART IS A CORRUPTED HEART | In his homily for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Bishop Raul reflected on the true meaning of corruption — not merely as a political or social issue, but as a matter of the heart.

He said, “A broken heart is a corrupted heart — one that has forgotten how to love as God loves. When the heart turns toward power, fame, and greed, it loses its divine rhythm and forgets the joy of self-giving love.”

He reminded the faithful that the root of all corruption begins when the heart stops beating in tune with God’s love. When love is replaced by selfish desires, the heart becomes disoriented and broken, unable to give life and compassion.

He called everyone to return to prayer and humility, to let God heal the heart so it may once again love with purity, mercy, and generosity — the way God loves.
