The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte successfully held its Year-End Party 2025 on December 15, 2025, at Maze Park, bringing together health workers and partners in a celebration filled with gratitude, unity, and reflection. The event highlighted the collective efforts, milestones, and shared accomplishments of the RHU team in delivering dedicated and compassionate healthcare services to the community throughout the year.

The RHU–Tagoloan family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jovette S. Guinal for graciously taking the time to attend the celebration. Your presence, support, and words of encouragement truly inspired the entire team and strengthened our resolve to continue serving with excellence and compassion.

We also express our deepest appreciation to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Leslie Glendee H. Dimakuta, for generously sponsoring the event and for her unwavering support to all RHU programs and initiatives. Her strong leadership and commitment to advancing public health services remain instrumental in the continued success of RHU–Tagoloan.

More than a year-end gathering, the celebration at Maze Park served as a testament to teamwork, dedication, and a shared vision for a healthier Tagoloan. The activity was attended by selected year levels and formally opened by Doc. Baemona Montila-Alawi, who also discussed essential facts about HIV. A comprehensive and informative discussion on HIV and AIDS was then delivered by our guest speaker, Halid Matuan, to further promote awareness, prevention, and understanding.

We extend our sincere gratitude to SK Inagongan, and most especially to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Leslie Glendee H. Dimakuta, for their unwavering support in making this meaningful activity a success.

Together, we raise awareness, break the stigma, and build a healthier community.

A productive day at RHU Tagoloan as the PhilHealth team from Iligan Sir Daffy Dimaporo and Sir Jalal together with Dr. Francis Ramos from PhilHealth Regional Office X, visited our facility to provide important updates on the YAKAP Program. Their insights and guidance are vital as we continue strengthening our services for the people of Tagoloan.

Our Municipal Health Officer, Doc. Baemona Montila-Alawi, warmly welcomed the guests and facilitated a meaningful discussion on how we can further improve the implementation of YAKAP in our municipality.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Leslie Glendee H. Dimakuta, for her unwavering support to all our health programs and initiatives. Her leadership continues to pave the way for accessible and quality healthcare for every Tagoloanon.

The Local Health Board meeting was held at Mighty Hilltop, Tagoloan, LDN with the participation of the Municipal Mayor Leslie Glendee 'Lovely' H. Dimakuta, Municipal Health Officer- Doc Baemona M. Montila- Alawi, DOH representative Doc Jovette S. Guinal,
Barangay Captains and officials and sectoral stakeholders to align efforts for improved community health outcomes.

Today, our Rural Health Unit conducted a comprehensive Program Implementation Review, gathering dedicated health personnel and program focal staff to assess our accomplishments, challenges, and plans for more effective service delivery. Through meaningful discussions and collaborative evaluation, we strengthened our strategies to ensure that our programs remain responsive and community-centered.

September 14, 2025, Tagoloanons availed of free optical check-ups through the Free Optical Mission spearheaded by our hardworking 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙚 𝙂𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙚 𝙃. 𝘿𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙩𝙖, in partnership with dedicated health service providers.

And Last ,October 13, 2025, those smiles have grown even brighter as the free eyeglasses were officially released and distributed to the beneficiaries!

This initiative reflects our continuous effort to promote accessible health services for every Tagoloanon, ensuring that everyone can see the world more clearly and live each day with renewed hope and confidence. 💫

The Local Health Board Meeting was recently convened, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss and plan for the continuous improvement of our local health programs and services. Chaired by our Honorable Mayor Leslie Glendee 'Lovely' Dimakuta with the active participation of the Municipal Health Officer Dr. Baemona M. Montila- Alawi and Dr. Jovette S. Guinal- DMO V, Philhealth LHIO representatives, members from the Sangguniang Bayan Committee on Health, delegates from the respective departments and Barangay officials, meeting focused on addressing current health concerns, reviewing ongoing programs, and setting priorities for upcoming initiatives. 💉🩺
