A successful Medical and Dental mission👩‍⚕️

This medical mission serves as a reminder that health is a right, not a privilege. Through the dedicated efforts of our doctors, nurses, midwives and volunteers, we were able to provide medical consultations, dental services, free medicines, feeding program and essential services, and compassionate care to those who need it most.

Our dedicated doctors Doc Baemona M. Montila- Alawi and Doc. Raisah Lomangcolob offered consultations to the community, ensuring that every individual had access to quality healthcare services. Their commitment and compassion reflect the true essence of public service, reaching out, listening, and providing proper medical advice to those in need. This initiative not only promotes wellness but also strengthens our shared goal of bringing healthcare closer to the people.

The Rural Health Unit of Tagoloan would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Local Government Unit spearheaded by Mayor Leslie"Lovely" Dimakuta and Vice Mayor Maminta "Mighty" Dimakuta, the Provincial Health Office headed by Doc Cristie Joy Indoc, the dental team headed by Doc Flores and all our partners who made this initiative possible. Truly, it is in unity and service where we find the strength to uplift one another. Together, we continue to build healthier and stronger communities. 🌿❤️

We are overjoyed to share the incredible success of our recent blood donation drive! Thanks to the overwhelming support and selfless contributions from our community, significantly boosting the reserves of local blood banks. Each donation is a lifeline, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who participated.

In addition to the drive, we proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Amai Pakpak Medical Center solidifying our long-term commitment to promoting and facilitating regular blood donation initiatives. This partnership will enable us to reach more donors and ensure a stable supply of blood for those in need.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to LGU Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte spearheaded by our active Mayor, Hon. Leslie Glendee "Lovely" H. Dimakuta and Vice Mayor Maminta S. Dimakuta for the full support, to the LGU staff, Amai Pakpak Medical Center Blood Bank team headed by Dr. Nurhaida Pagador, Provincial Health Office staff headed by Dr. Cristie Joy Indoc, PNP-SAF, Tagoloan Municipal Police Station, RHU staff headed by Dr. Baemona M. Montila-Alawi, the DOH HRH, barangay health workers, all the volunteers, and staff who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Your dedication and hard work have made a tangible difference in our community.

This platform allowed us to gain deeper insights on leadership and ethical skills, mental health and well-being of healtcare workers and technical learning—knowledge that will truly guide and strengthen our healthcare services. 💙

Isa ka bang life-saver? Inaanyayahan po namin kayo sa aming Blood Donation Drive:

📍 EVACUATION CENTER, Dimayon, Tagoloan, LDN
📍 August 18, 2025 | 🕒 8am-12noon

✅ Bakit mahalaga:
1. Isang bag ng dugo ay maaaring magligtas ng hanggang 3 buhay.

2. Suporta sa mga pasyenteng nangangailangan: may kanser, dengue, aksidente, at iba pa.

3. Voluntary at walang bayad—isang makabuluhang paraan para makatulong.

4. Katuwang ka sa pagbuo ng mas matatag na blood supply para sa bayan.

✅ Mga kailangang kwalipikasyon ng donors (ayon sa DOH at PRC):

Edad 18–65 taon

Timbang ≥ 50 kg

Hindi buntis

Normal ang blood pressure at pulse

Walang active infections o major health conditions tulad ng HIV, cancer, heart/lung disease

Walang tattoos o piercings sa loob ng 12 buwan

Magpahinga nang husto—minimum 8 oras tulog

Kumain at uminom nang maraming tubig bago bumiyahe papunta sa site
